When and how do they get our smart phone # to send tickets if we win? I didn't see anywhere when i put my choices in.

Also if I win 10C tickets can I still get extra tickets to the same show via Ticketmaster?

Not a fan of this new system as it will be near impossible selling tickets if you can't attend yourself. I know, I know, that's not the point of buying tenclub seats but stuff happens from between now and then. I had tickets for both Fenway shows in 2016 but my grandmother passed away a week before night 1, so I had to make an adjustment.

My wife dropped her phone in the toilet at Murphy's Bleachers before one of the last Wrigley shows.  That would be a major problem with the new format...

I like that, and as I have said a lot.... I like the 'you buy it, you better use the ticket(s)' policy....

But itll kind of suck if I get the back of the floor somewhere and cant within the rules find a seated area.  Seat.  Im 5'5", so back of the floor is basically a show-ruiner.  At least picking the tickets up day of the show, its a 'thems the breaks' kind of thing.  Now, Ill have to fester for months.

You could have procrastinated joining for 27 years and fester with the worst seats forever. But they're still seats!

The only way I could even see that working would be if u met someone that had the tickets you wanted and walked in together. Ga vs reserved kinda thing. But if you can't go at all due to anything unforseen assume u r sol?

I'm wondering if maybe they'll institute a fan/10C resale (like how Newport Folk Festival does), so you can only send to other members of the same group, and only for face value.

Love Newport's system but don't like the idea for 10C. Their new system is intended to discourage hoarding/multiple accounts and that sort of model would actively incentivize it.

People are just still bummed that they effectively got shut down from gaming the system to some extent.  My wife and I each have accounts so that we can both make a GA 1 pick.  Went 1-1 with those picks and picked up reserve on the one that didn't get GA since it was a choice 2.
I tried to come up with all the different ways it could be formatted to play the extra picks card but in every way possible I ate at least 1 if not more tickets.

Long story short the change worked just as intended.  We put in for what we were going to use no more no less. Won big on one and won smaller on the other.  Way better than the years that we were shut out.

Agreed now if we could everyone else to be on board with this. Facebook is littered with people trying to dump pairs.

Quite a roll of the dice to buy someone's reserved pair right now and assume everything will go smoothly.

Wait until the verified sale is done and they upgrade. It will get worse I am afraid.

The only way that I can see selling or trading tickets working out is that you have to have multi GA to the same show and can sell the extra from each set.  Otherwise the buyer pair has to be escorted to their seats and then hope that the guest ticket can be used by both seats if they have to leave.... What a pain in the balls.

Yes,  I'm curious how this works for reasons you mention - because if don't enforce seeing tickets then just have people sneaking into front sections.  There is going to be a lot of stories coming out of Seattle night 1 and hopefully everyone is wise enough to adjust.

    SHOW COUNT: (149) 1990's=3, 2000's=53, 2010/20's=89, US=109, CAN=15, Europe=19 ,New Zealand=2, Australia=2

Yea, are they doing away with GA wristbands?  If so how will they keep GA kosher?  Again, checking phones throughout the show is going to cause a massive backup I feel, I know its similar to a ticket, but every phone is different, some people wont have it out, some old security guard wont know where to look....just seems like it could be a mess.  I'm sure they have done it before, but Ive never been to an E-Ticket only show, anyone have stories?!

What I've seen at other E-ticket, FlashSeats & credit card entry shows is after your mobile device is scanned...
you will be given a printed seat slip.
It looks like one of the credit card receipts you get at the gas pump,
and you will that you will use this to find your seat and for re-entry if you leave the stands for restroom breaks or beer runs.
I'm sure they'll be using wristbands for the GA section as well!!

With credit card entry, you scan your credit card, not you mobile device and it prints out a seat location.  With QR code tickets, they scan your phone just like at the airport with boarding passes and you move along.  There is no additional printing out of anything.  that would be redundant anyway since your seat location is on the mobile ticket on your phone.

So you scan your phone when you have credit card entry tickets?  I also attend lots of concerts in many locations and have never personally nor seen anyone ever scan their phone with cc entry tickets.  I'm not trying to be a dick but I think you are providing 100% inaccurate information here about getting a print out of your seat location upon entry.  Its just not going to happen that way.

I know I’ll be looking to upgrade my reserved Seattle night 2 tickets due to my 600— number. If I can find decent seats elsewhere, I guess I’ll hope to find someone willing to walk in with me to use my phone and scan. That seems like the only realistic option to get rid of both. At that point I’ll prob take under face value just to get rid of them.

With that said, good for 10C for putting the tickets in the fans hands...no system is perfect and I will take getting tickets over the alternative(although having a physical ticket is nice for sentimental value!)
Yes,  I'm curious how this works for reasons you mention - because if don't enforce seeing tickets then just have people sneaking into front sections.  There is going to be a lot of stories coming out of Seattle night 1 and hopefully everyone is wise enough to adjust.

I all can tell you is what I've experiences at various venues all over the country.
I have received a printed seat slip for many shows using all of these methods of entry.

For A Perfect Circle show last fall the ticket was a QR code on my phone. They scanned it and gave me a printout that looked like a ticket stub with my seat location.

Here are a couple of the seating slips I've got at shows the last few years...the top one was printed out after I scanned a QR code using the FlashSeats app on my phone.
The Cure slip was printed from a credit card entry show in Atlanta.
I know I had one for the U2 show at Cleveland Brown Stadium this past summer as well, but can't find it at the moment.

Thanks for the info.  This is helpful.  IF they didn't do this you basically have to send your spare to your ticket buddy.  If not they would need you with them or your phone anytime they leave the field
    This could be the day

I do see a bit of it on facebook and even here... but it is a small fraction of what I have noticed in the past.
Wait until the verified sale is done and they upgrade. It will get worse I am afraid.
What choice do new members have?

They can choose to recognize securing tickets through the lottery without hassle days before anyone else is a benefit in and of itself. They can choose to understand that there will literally be thousands of people in "worse" seats than theirs.
