wait, I'm confused . So now sporting events ARE an appropriate place for political protests?

    Ha!  Nice one.

Bill Maher said that Pence was very uncomfortable seeing Mexicans on ice.  He prefers ICE on Mexicans.

was watching one of joe rogan's podcasts. he showed some video from the 80's, an interview with charlie rose. he was talking about humbling it was to declare bankruptcy. the difference in how he spoke back then to now is striking.

Taht doesn't make any sense.  White people enslaved white people in the past, and black did as well.  Prisoners captured in raids and battles (women and children in particular) were sold off to slavery.  It happened in every culture around the world.

Trump Administration Plans To Defang Consumer Protection Watchdog http://n.pr/2H3ZuvL

The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau was created after the financial crisis to protect Americans from being ripped off by financial firms.

Now, President Trump's interim appointee to run the bureau Mick Mulvaney is making radical changes to deter the agency from aggressively pursuing its mission.

I've heard some serious grumbling from economists about how they are making all the exact wrong moves for an economy so strong that's 10 years deep in growth, and that the moves will make the coming recession worse.
Now is the time for raising taxes and lowering deficits, and Trump/GOP doesn't have the balls to go against their base, which doesn't understand economics in the slightest.

They are right.  The economy is overheating and at serious risk for inflation.  My biggest bitch about the tax cuts was that you take away an effective piece of ammunition when the real downturn inevitably comes.  Can't cut any lower...

I have three kids and it hurt me.  I was way above the standard deduction, but now I have to take it.  I did get hit with AMT from time to time.  If that's gone for me, that will take some uncertainty out of it.

They are intentionally strangling the economy.  Now that they have passed tax cuts on their rich friends, they can focus on cutting social safety nets like Medicare, SSA, SNAP, ACA etc.

Trump proposes cutting entitlements by $1.7 trillion — enough to pay for $1.5 trillion in tax cuts

Continuing Trump's plan of doing the wrong thing, at the wrong time for the sake of short term political expediency...he is also trying to do infrastructure.  Because nothing is smarter than trying to create a bunch of new gov't contract jobs when we are at 4% unemployment and at risk of inflation.
