They won’t put seats on the infield.  Or do you mean all the field seats?

Hi everyone, first time comment-er, long time reader/forum creeper.  Can anyone tell me how I can make additional show selections, if I already made an initial one? I initially put in for Missoula only, and now I want to also try for Seattle night two tickets as well, but it doesn't let me make additional selections. Any help is much appreciated!

You have to cancel the initial order and start again from scratch.

I believe that you need to cancel your original selection and then reselect what you now want.

I got GA N2 Wrigley as second pick. I don't know if anybody got N1 GA as second choice. Heard quite a few got N2 as second choice.
Nobody got Night 1 GA with a 2nd pick, because I lost it with my first pick in 2016. But yes, many people did get Night 2 GA with their 2nd pick.

I wish I knew what the final percent chances were in 2016 for Wrigley. I think they both were lower than we see right now?

  • The heck with it. I changed my picks around. Ga for Seattle August 10 1st pick & reserved Seattle August 10 for the second. I’m pretty confident I’ll at least get reserved. Now if the reserved odds plummet I’ll switch back.

Man, it's been awhile! BF & I put in for Res for the Wrigley shows, me night 1 and him night 2.

"Members may not purchase a pair of tickets with the intentions of giving both away or reselling a ticket pair. The fan club member whose name was drawn for the tickets is expected to attend. No exceptions."
^^This makes me a bit nervous. If we miss out, no way we can sit together in 10c seats. So fingers crossed--pressure is on me, as I put in for night 1. Affects strategy too, as we can't even have one of us put another night down as backup, and then sell to other 10c members if we get too many.

Of course we will always play fair, but this rule def makes me nervous. We just want to sit together in 10c seats! :)

    Good luck to all!

  • Need a more mathematical mind than mine to help here. Put in Seattle Day 2 GA as First, Reserved Second. At what point should I worry about the odds for reserved (currently 93%) if I care more about just being in the building?

I am wondering the same thing for Wrigley.  I have GA for both 1,2 with reserve 3,4.  I still think the odds for reserve will go up as people get their first priorities.

You should be good,  doubt odds drop significantly from here. Don't forget that the 93% include people who will

There’s a chance you get none with those choices.

Wrigley 2 Reserved still at 99% so you’ll get those. Hard to say for the others.

Correct, wrigley 1 res as 3rd pick is no guarantee obviously however wrigley 2 res as 4th may work ga’s % are mostly 1st,2nd picks which means they won’t last past 1st round

Would love thoughts on my Chicago Approach:

    • I absolutely want to go N1 and really want to go both nights if possible.
    • My GF is short so while I'd love to go GA, I won't be devastated if I get RES both nights.

    OPTION 1:

    1) N2 GA - Not only is it higher odds, but I think many folks have N1GA and even N1RES ahead of it. Talk of N2 GA lasting to 2nd choice lin 2016. Feels like best bet at all but locking in GA?

    2) N1 RES - Moving this to 2nd is a little riskier. It's only 75% but guessing almost everyone has N1 GA ahead of it, and many have N2 GA ahead of it...am I crazy for thinking I'm near lock to get N1 RES here?

    3) N2 RES - It's 99%... a lock... and a fallback for pick1 of N2 GA.

OPTION 2: IMO going N1 RES / N2 GA / N2 RES is the safest way to guaranteed be in the door each night, while still having a (small) shot at GA one night. Thoughts?

Both options would punt on N1 GA.

I don't think so, but I think it was implied all the field seats might be 10c, as 10c has way more tickets this time.

That may not be a good thing.   There's to incline so you can't see over peoples heads.   The pit is huge, so even the best seats behind the pit, will probably be like being in row 25 or 30 at a seated show.    If I end up with reserveds I'd want to be in the stands.. at least a few rows up to see over everyone's heads :)
