I want to say I bought it in Summer of either 2002 or 2003, and it was one of my favourites from the first listen. So many great songs on that record.

I didn’t have time to go to the mall that morning when the music store opened because I had classes all day, but I couldn’t wait to get it so I bought it in the university book store.

The experience with Yield is crazy to look back at.  I worked at a job that gave me early on T1 access to the internet, and was able to hear the album via the Syracuse University student leak on MP3.  That and the repeat of Self Pollution as Monkeywrench.
His eminence has yet to show.

20 years later and it's still my favorite record of all time. I just love the theme/groove/feel/flow of the record from start to finish.
It feels like such a cohesive story with a beginning, middle and end.

Absolutely incredible album, The fact that PJ was able to create such a good album so deep into their careers proved that they would be around for a long, long time. Also, the interesting new version of their sound for this album was incredibly refreshing, yet familiar.

Today is a great day. Happy Birthday Yield!

Bought a copy the morning it came out; on first listen I was hooked.  Saw them 8 times that year and 20 years later it is still my favorite album and tour.

Still my favorite album as well. Wish I had seen them that tour! Was supposed to go to the Merriweather show but the girl I worked with that had the tickets moved away and I had no way of reaching her. Ahh, pre-social media days!

I’ve got a date with the Milwaukee 2014 bootleg tonight.  And vodka.

Favorite PJ album.  I still remember bringing the CD to work and listening to it on my laptop when it was released.
