  • Several on your list are ones I'm looking forward to.  I like seeing lists like this, because I'm always forgetting ones I know are coming.  Only one I can remember right now off the top of my head is:

Glen Hansard- Between Two Shores (tomorrow, 1/19)

No time to be void or save up on life, you gotta spend it all.

Yeah, I love these lists too - for the same reasons.

Billy and Jimmy are in the studio right now.

James Iha reportedly stopped by a few days ago... so I am hoping it will be a full band reunion.

Right now, I'm looking forward to the debut album by Soccer Mommy (Sort of an Exile Liz Phair home recording vibe).

My Bloody Valentine is supposed to drop a new LP. The Kendrick Lamar Black Panther album should be great. I think thats all thats been announced so far.

Hopefully TVOTR, Portishead, Spiritualized and Kanye all have new albums. I'm sure Thee Oh Sees will have 3 news ones as well,. And Ty Segall will also release 3 more because theres still 11 months left in the year.

Huh, wondering how this will be. Granted I haven't listened to any of their stuff from the past decade or so.

I have a friend who is seeing him at an upcoming show in Sacramento (she said she might even get a chance to hang out with him a bit).  I'll try to remember to post some of her impressions here.

Carlton Melton has a new double album with CD called Mind Minerals coming out in about 10 days.  Drummer/friend Andy tells me its some of the best stuff they've ever put out.  I can't wait!

 You're probably right. He's just throwing shit at the wall these days to see what sticks, haha. And that's cool, he's earned that luxury 10 fold.

(I would LOOOOOVE another Joseph Arthur album!!! He's been going through a lot of personal shit though - I'm not too sure where he stands at the moment. Hopefully he's doing better)
