This was had a lot of the Stand By Me kid dialogue feel to it.  Loved that part of IT.
I thought the clown was creepy and if you are creeped out at all by clowns it must have been terrifying.
I liked the first one when I watched it way back when.
Yeah, for sure. When I walked out of the theatre the first thing I said was that it like a combo of The Goonies and Stand By Me with a twist of creepy clown. I loved it!

Finally saw this. Enjoyed it a lot.
They just started filming Glass yesterday. Can't wait.

My thought was "I liked it better when it was called Stranger Things".  No, it was a good movie.  I agree Pennywise was great in this movie.  Maybe if I was watching it at 1:00am alone at home it might have been more suspenseful, but it seemed you could see everything coming a mile away.

Oh, I never found the book scary at all and I didn't find this scary or suspenseful either. I never expected to. I can't say I ever understood why people ever acted like this story was supposed to be terrifying (unless they actually had a legitimate fear of clowns... I am convinced that 95% of the people who claim to have a clown phobia are just faking it because they think it makes them more interesting or something, I dunno. Yeah, they can be a little creepy - calm down, lol). For me it was only ever intriguing. An adventure story.

    A Ghost Story

Pretty good - 7/10 I think. It is slow and moody - some may not have the patience for this film. There is one scene where we just watch a woman silently eating pie for probably 4 minutes straight, lol. I had my doubts about the movie at times... but by the time it ended I was glad I watched it, even though it made me rather sad.
Just watched this. Twas oddly compelling.

Hallmark, it’s the channel with cheesy family movies isn’t it?  Sounds good to me.

    Gerald's Game (Netflix)

I thought this was very well done. Great acting by both leads, especially by C. Gugino.
And THAT scene near the end...Jesus!!!
Big fan of the directors work so far.

    It (2017)

Found it to be incredibly overrated and too long. Half way through I wanted it to be over.
