Benaroya Hall vinyl is the most overrated and ridiculous thing in the entire Pearl Jam world... $1,000 for a record? Fucking laughable dude

Benny wasnt mastered for vinyl.... they took the exact same digital file from the cd and pressed it to wax... you are literally paying $1,000 for a large black cd

I own this set and it sounds absolutely amazing on vinyl. The sound of the room is captured very well in my opinion. If you ever get a chance it's a must have. Id buy another if the reissued it but would it sound the same? If someone made me an offer I couldn't refuse it it be hard to say no... Great sounding album all round good luck fella!

It was actually mastered for Vinyl. Whether it was done in the best possible way is debatable, but things have changed drastically in the course of the last 14 years in the industry in respect to vinyl. It is not black. It is also not worth $1,000, except for the fact that people have paid 3x that.

I click just hoping he left the thread to go listen to his new Benny on vinyl, without saying a word." I don't know much, but I know that.
There was just an auction that ended on eBay for an opened but never played Benny. It ended at $1,025. I hope that extra $25 wasn't a breaking point for you and that you are the person that won the item.

No, not if you let that one go on eBay without even bidding to $1,000. I was shocked it stayed that low.

Nah, get it like you like it man. If you're shelling out $1k, you have the right to be patient and wait for a better copy to show up.
