So you'll be disappointed if there isn't something other than what's described in the item description?

Probably exactly what it said? Was too rich for me. I can't spend that kind of money blindly especially since its all previously released anyway.

I couldn't spend that amount of money knowing there wouldn't be something special.

Its just you usually get a deal when you buy a bundle not pay more than buying them separately.

I guess they were accounting for shipping costs if you went with separate purchases?

The surprise is that you are the happy owner of a sold out item that will only be seen 20 more times as a vitalogy hc auction on eBay.  Just keep it sealed or else you'll be really mad.

Thats pretty shitty if thats what it is, shipping has nothing to do with 10c, its already a ripoff to start.

I don't really understand how you can say it's "shitty" when you read the description and it didn't say there was anything "special" about this except you get all of the records and a nice box. Man, some people really feel entitled.

Well, for some people buying what you already have isn't enough.

It is really sad.  People are buying vinyl like shoes.  "I'll take that one in red."  It's fucking music!

I am excited about the whole box set.  It'd be cool if we got something extra special in it but I'm good if we don't.

I did read it. You bought what was described, so if it's nothing more than that, it's only a bummer, not shitty. I personally hope that they do something special for everyone who snagged one two or three. I was lucky to see it late, so I couldn't spend money I shouldn't and then possibly be upset if it was just as described.

    Same here! :)

Maybe inside they will include a card with a digital download code where we can all go online & download all 10 Pearl Jam albums in 192kHz 24Bit Flac HD. That would be pretty freaking sweet!

The reply was to the quote right above it. SVRD suggested that maybe it was more to buy the bundle than separately because they took shipping into account. I replied if so "thats pretty shitty" because 10c has nothing to do with shipping costs. Maybe understand the context before calling people entitled.

I am pretty sure 500 people will get all ten studio albums on vinyl plus a nifty cool box to put them in. I am thinking the box will be similar in quality and design to the boot box.
What are you expecting op?  Glow in the dark vinyl?  Exclusvive ed doodles on each record?  Full band autographs on your favorite album?  Boom hand delivers your box and vinyl to your door step?
I'll ride the wave where it takes me......

The something special is that you bought something limited and some people are willing to pay extra to feel like they got something that other people missed out on.

Its up to you to decide if that feeing was worth the extra $100.

Im saying that it makes no sense to charge more for all of them together than it is to buy them separately if you're getting the exact same thing.

Agree. I don't get why anyone paid $350 for this. And the 500 who did I bet have most of the vinyl and only needed a couple plus the box. Who was willing to pay the $350 and didn't bother to get the other reissues this already comes with for more than the a la mode price?
the fact this even sold out explains the ridiculous prices for second hand PJ merch.

They charge what people will pay.  Here is what I imagine how a PJ meeting goes.

Band:  "Do we need to release a new album this year to generate some extra cash?"

Management:  "No.  Your fans will continue to buy your old music with different packaging. They are sheep.  Bah.  Bah."

    Band:  "Really?"

Management:  "Yes.  I saw how my 8 year old asks for the same doll over and over with different clothing.  So, I thought, let's sell 40 year olds the same vinyl with different colors.  It worked."
