Struise black damnation number 25. It's a barrel aged black Albert. They released 13 variants earlier this year and only 2000 bottles of each. It was the last bar one in the shop but at £40 a bottle I will struggle to justify another even if I do see one ;)

Stone seriously knows what they are doing when it comes to IPAs. I almost always enjoy their "Enjoy By" series. Recently had the "Enjoy By 09-04-17". 9.4% ABV DAYUM!! it was tasty. But not for the faint of heart.

Ha, not all that highbrow but certainly very restrained. I'm lucky that I live within an hour or so of this place, Old Chimneys near Diss UK, so I can get a hold of his special releases if I'm on the ball enough. It's pretty much a one man band I think but he makes some amazing traditional English ales and the Imperial Stout (Good King Henry) is fantastic. For me the White Admiral sat somewhere between a wheat beer and a Belgian dubbel. If it gets another outing I'll pick some more up but this was a re-brew of what was supposed to be a one off so and only 180 bottles so I'm not holding out much hope.

On a side note I am off to Copenhagen and Malmo tomorrow and am going to be checking out Warpigs. Everyone on here always raves about Three Floyds and living in the UK I think this will be as close as I get for some time so I am very excited indeed. :)

Had a Hermit Thrush Supah Phunk #6 Wild Ale last night. I'm usually put off by sours and goses, but this particular sour was outstanding.
    I SAW PEARL JAM

Was in Michigan for a wedding over the weekend.  Stopped at a nice, little brewery called Greenbush.  They had really good BBQ on the menu....craft beer and BBQ is the perfect combination.  Stopped at 3 Floyd's on the way home and scored 2 cases of zombie dust and a case of gumballhead.....will be drinking some great beers for the next few weeks.  Good stuff.

I've been trying to tell anybody who will listen that Greenbush is legit AF! Their BBQ is solid as it gets. And I love that it's in such a quaint little town with the Annex just across the street.

Greenbush for some food and beer before making the hour drive to 3 Floyds to pick up Zombie Dust is the perfect brewery day. Only thing I'd add is heading over to One Trick Pony (about 10 minutes from 3 Floyds in Lansing). If you're and IPA or BBS person, you'll be fond of this joint.

Yes sir, it is. Exit 12 in MI out of IN. Maybe a 45 minute drive from the IL state line. Not too bad of a drive from Notre Dame either.
