Considering it. Hard to make my work and personal schedule work to make it with a 6 hour drive. What are the odds Ed or some of the band surface at one of these?
    It's a hopeless situation...
  • 5pm only.  Too old for a 10 o'clock movie.

I can't even begin to imagine how crazy it would be if someone from the band was there!

I highly doubt it but who knows.  Ed would seem to make the most sense, given his Chicago ties.  It would be a nice surprise, that's for sure.

    In.
And depending on what time I pull, would be interested in a 1-for-1 trade to see both nights.

Ok so are we assuming that 10pm doors means you can just get in at 10, or are they showing it at 10?

11pm start? Holy crap. I'm a teacher and was trying to figure out the best time to enter. 5pm is to early to try to make downtown

I'm in.  Cubs are on the road (playing the Cards) both days so Theo and Cub players are out.  Eddie has a pretty busy schedule in September so I doubt he will be there (not a chance he goes to all three).  This is probably similar to what they did in Boston right after the first concert.

Fenway seems like a test run in retrospect. Metro has a weekend fest Friday-Sunday, so I wouldn't expect anything elaborate beyond a viewing party and short QA with Clinch - which is more than fine with me.
  • I entered for all 3.  Hoping either I pull one or one of my friends do.  I live in the suburbs so even a late show isn't that big of a deal.  It's nice that they're doing a ten club only showing but I don't really understand the draw for people outside of Chicagoland or maybe the Midwest to enter the drawing.  It's a movie showing.  Even so, I hope folks that enter the drawing intend on going rather than just entering because they're excited for a Ten Club only event then realize it isn't feasible to incur massive travel costs to watch a film.

Amen. If you're not planning on going, please don't enter to lower the odds for the people who would for sure go.

Damn, the odds are a lot lower than I thought so far. Since the event is mostly seated space in the Metro, that's not too surprising though.

Wow. Those are incredibly low odds considering this is going to appeal to locals for the most part.

"There is one main floor and one mezzanine level at Metro. The venue is General Admission with seats on both levels and some standing room in the back of the mezzanine. Seats are first-come-first-serve."
    https://pearljam.com/ten-club/event/lets-play-two-screening

The Metro had a Cubs Game 7 viewing party last year - floor was mostly chairs and standing room in the back. Guessing it will be a similar setup for this event.

You'd have to think, just by looking at the odds, everyone who submitted put in for all three. As winners get drawn, they are pulled from the other lotteries helping the chance of others.

Entered for 10pm 28th. Hoping I'll just take Friday off and do some Chicago stuff after sleeping in. Thursday as a day off isn't very appealing.

    Good luck all!
