All three songs are amazing and I usually always go for the heaver fast paced songs but Black just holds a very special place for me.

    Black for the win!

This is near impossible.  Each song is excellent and carries so much significance to PJs overall body of work.  I'll sit on the sidelines for a bit.

Black is a masterpiece, and Alive is where it all began.

Sorry RVM. You're good, but you're not that good!

They're all masterpieces in their own way, and RVM is that good.

I give the edge to Black because it is the only song of the 3 to have been a commercially successful cover by another band (Staind).

Not a chance, lyrically they aren't even on the same level, let alone being equals.

Agree, though I would say it's in the top 10.

Haha. This is my least favorite tiebreak rationale I think I've heard yet on these polls. Sorry. To each their own, but I don't even acknowledge the existence of that cover, nor do I think it should have any bearing on how any of us feel about these songs.

Black and Alive are top 5 songs for me. RVM is top 10 or 15. It's great, but it's not as great as the other two.
