Our local news folks just creamed themselves over Jennifer Lopez singing in the car with "A Rod". Didn't need to see her obnoxious gum-chewing self (actually, didn't need to see the GUM to begin with), and just don't get why this is news or even considered enjoyable.
Sometimes I feel like I'm in some weird audience watching the emperor in his (or her) new clothes.
Struggling with insomnia. I've struggled falling asleep for a while now; needed melatonin for the longest time but now that is not even working....which is why I am reading about PJ at 1AM.

One year ago I was at Fenway 2 and the night before, at House of Blues watching Fenway 1, to which I so regret not getting tix. That was such a fun and memorable night. I'd kill to get that on DVD.

And it's weird, it's not a physical thing (though I think his smile/laugh/odd-ish teeth are great, not to mention that he wears random casual clothes well - if that makes sense). It's the mind side of it; gets me every time!
In the episode of Curb I'm watching, he also made fun of "sacred intercourse" after answering the phone during sex.
Today is the third anniversary of Robin Williams' suicide. He is one of my favorite actors/comedians and it makes me so sad that someone so talented, so special, felt so troubled that he took his own life.
Today also happens to be my mother's birthday. So, a bad day overall.

I think I remember the loss-dates only for Lennon and Paul Newman (he passed the same week as my dad).
Me, feeling pretty good this evening. Got through a tough workweek and SO FUCKING HAPPY it's the weekend.
