2016 brown trucker hat, bend the brim or nah?

How do you wear it? I love the hat so much, but I don't really look great in flat brim hats. I don't want to ruin the hat by folding the brim, though. What did you do?

Also, how does one curve the brim of a hat safely?

Put it on your head and squeeze in. But don't do it all at once. It's typically just a sturdy cardboard in the brim so have multiple sessions where you wear it and are pushing on it occasionally to form it how you like. If you rush it you could mess up the brim or accidentally make it too tight.

Find a round cylinder, like a coffee can or 2 liter soda bottle. Dampen the brim with water, or a 50/50 mix of water and starch. Form it around the diamete of the cylinder and secure it with a rubber band for 24 hours. Voila!

*I used to have to do this when I was in the military. When new, the brims of our camaflouge hats weren't shaped, and we had to form them like this as part of inspections/uniform requirements.
