Easy fix. Have a co-worker open up the tube so he/she can snap a pic of what's inside to share with you.

Don't do it. What if that co-worker gorilla grips that poster back into that thin tube?

Exactly, or is a newbie handler like me (this was the 1st poster I ever got in the mail) and I assumed when I opened it that the thin paper I first encountered was wrapping paper, started to pull it out, RIPPED the paper, and then suddenly panicked like "Oh SHIT, what if this is the poster itself??"  Thank goodness it was just wrapping paper, but a newbie could also just reach in and try to pull and rip the actual goods.

Al that said, was the person proposing that even serious?  I kinda thought it was a joke...

I reach in and try to get the craft paper/poster to tighten a bit so that the tension is off the tube and it can just slide out.

Which I do by putting my hand in the most inside part of the poster and trying to wind it up further inside, which makes it easier to pull out.  That's what you mean too, right KS80184?

So happy I saw this great idea before I get my Kong or Camden '98 in the next mystery sale - I'll squeeze the entire tube of lube into the poster tube just to be sure I get that beauty out smoothly!  What could go wrong?  Thanks, some people wouldn't share their secrets like that!

Best part, it's water based, so it won't leave an oily residue on that sought after print.

Oh I read what you wrote, but you gotta look at the future. After that co-worker takes that photo, he / she ..

    Rolls up poster tightly.
Shoves poster in tube or leaves it out in the open where the cleaners mistakenly tramples over it @ night.
KC138045  comes back to the office with his holy grail poster creased to oblivion.

Got the 2010 Oieras, Portugal show in previous mystery sale. I seem to only get posters with Octopi/Squid type creatures on them lol. But they're both pretty cool posters
