Def some great posters but not a chance Id pay that much for one!  Rather save the $$$ for more shows.

I'm baffled by what some people pay for artwork, but to each their own. There's a segment of this community that really enjoys talking about this subjectively high priced merchandise for it adds to their perception of their own stuff. Liking the artwork is secondary to the speculative value of reselling $40 concert posters.

Completely agree.  I know art is super subjective, but many of the really expensive pieces are just meh to me.

Are these show posters really going for this much... dang.

It's completely out of control at this point.  However... we are getting a good tutorial on supply and demand combined with mob mentality.
I don't get the mob mentality part. Not being a smart ass, just don't have enough knowledge about what's been going on other than seeing crazy prices everywhere and I am intrigued by your statement
Maybe mob isn't the right word, perhaps Group Think.  I feel like people are jumping at posters with insane numbers (mostly through the waffles) on shows they didn't attend, likely, and the posters are just okay.  Perhaps they are trying to get them to flip themselves, but there is some serious flipping happening right now. IMHO....

Finally have all the Wrigley 2016 posters framed and hung. Did the Brad Klausen matboard myself. Had to get the Ken Taylor custom framed but happy with how it turned out instead of the basic black wood frame.

    Good morning,
Has anyone found an off-the-rack frame that fit the Klausen Dublin 2010 print?

It is approximately 13.75 inches by 24 inches.  Thank you for any and all constructive feedback.

Have a nice day and week.

I bought an 18X24 silver frame and then put a mat behind it that was a similar shade to the poster background for the extra space on the sides. I can't find a picture of it but it looked really good. The silver really punched the poster out since the poster is darker overall.

That's definitely an odd size. If you just want to do a simple frame with no matte, I would try American Frame online. Just did a 27" x 9 1/2" panoramic picture (odd size) for around $30. Simple metal frame with acrylic and backboard. This was after A.C. Moore told me it would be around $140. And that was with the 60% off! Custom framing is a total racket UNLESS it's an expensive/sentimental piece or your doing multiple items in a single frame like so many of the creative people on this thread have done.

Oh and BTW, LOVE Klausen's art but HATE his poster sizes. Never can frame his stuff with off the rack frames. He either gets amazing deals on odd size paper or is a major stockholder in all the big box framing chains! HA!

Hey, ND. When did you score the Dublin? I know you'd been after that one for a while. Beautiful print. Nice score!

I got that one back in 2014, came all the way from Australia. Scored the Berlin '10 at the same time foe shipping only because it had some damage that framed out. One of my favorite scores. I think I saw one for sale on FB i can try to track down if you are interested in trying to get one.

Thank you, but not interested in purchasing at this time. I recall a discussion we had regarding grails and you mentioned the Dublin. I didn't realize you acquired it. Very cool!
