This is good ... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=73qBnuzrjx0

... and I should probably go to see them on Saturday night at the Starlight, but I got another thing. :P

Another worthwhile thing about this is, according to a message from r5, "TVOTR and ourselves (r5) agreed to make this show a benefit for the current genocide/situation in Darfur - almost your entire ticket price will be donated to a number of Darfur related chairities."

If I was you and had the opportunity to see them, I'd go! Awesome video.

I love it when the hosts seem to really dig the music. You could tell that Dave genuinely liked them.

For a perfect example of this, see My Morning Jacket on Conan doing 'one big holiday.'

I did see them open for Bauhaus and NIN this summer. Very cool.

I had a chance to see them this Friday in Baltimore, but I have plans to go to State College for the PSU game. If friends weren't coming from California I would be in Baltimore Friday night.

One of my current favorites right now.

Lucky! When I saw NIN with Bauhaus, Peaches opened - she was okay but I'd rather have seen TVOR. I've seen the clip on youtube of Dreams with Murphy, TVOR and Reznor though.

  • Thanks for posting this. I just picked up 'Return To Cookie Mountain' this week and it blew my nuts off, great, great album.

Good 'ol Dave Letterman - having good bands on his show, bless 'im.

They have a few shows booked this summer, including Ohana, so maybe we'll get a preview of new music later this year.

According to this article, they were writing earlier this year (Feb-March). Love the acoustic performances.

Love this band so much, but i do wish they do something a little less straightforward.

Agreed, I want them to go weird again like on Cookie Mountain and Bloodthirsty Babes, they're their best two records..

yep. They don't have to go Left field, but just don't go straightforward.

If anybody in SoCal is interested, I have an extra ticket to see Grizzly Bear and TV on the Radio at the Hollywood Bowl tomorrow night, Sunday 9/23/18. It's a Garden Box seat and I'm asking $80, which is under face value ($129). Please PM if interested. Thanks!
