    Excellent, love Ben Harper.
    The new album is awesome.
Except Pink Balloon lol I don't care for that one.
I currently only know the songs by track #s but I'm getting better acquainted with the songs. That pink balloon song has to about one of his daughters one would understand if one had a daughter likes I do. It's an ok song but my favs How Dark Is Gone, Finding Our Way, and When Sex Was Dirty.

How Dark is Gone is fucking awesome, and so is Dance Like Fire.  Easy to play as well!
I thought Pink Balloon might be about drugs.  It's not the lyrics that bother me, it's the music.  I skip that one every time but the rest is kick ass, his best album in years.

Just got the Legasy Edition of Johnny Cash at Folsom Prison.  This edition includes the opening act for Johnny Cash.
Carl Perkins.  Blue Suede Shoes, it's pretty hot.

    Sweet stuff, RYME.

I heard Ms. Lynn had a stroke earlier this month.  Good thoughts to her.  May she rise up from that and continue to kick ass.

... the pain ... this is the most emotional PJ live song I've attended in concert after tornadoes just missed us and Eddie was clearly concerned of the crowds well being ... I hope it helps heals any pain

This is actually a friend of mine.  Martha Burner.  The album cover is just ment to look artistic I think.  She doesn't actually go around like that.
She grew up in my home town, a friend of my sister's, in highschool, I was a few years older.  Then one day 17 years ago, my sister came up to me & gave me a (demo ep) of hers, said check this girl out.
And so,when I need a little boost after some sad news, or a hard week as we've had a lot of this past week.  This music helps to feel better or at ease. I like to spin a few of her albums. She is not widely known,  but her music is fun & Melancholy at the same time, reflective, witty, & deals with day to day down to earth struggles that we all deal with.  Check it out.  I think music connoisseurs would enjoy this...With a smoke in one hand & a drink in the other.

No links to post today, just a wish for ALL you fine PJ fans to enjoy your day.
I put 3 racks of ribs in the smoker early this morning, I'm going to put the fence up for my garden, which is fully planted (despite tripling in size) by Memorial Day for the first time ever.
This afternoon I'll be tossing the little kids into the air and giving alligator, horsey, and piggy back rides.  I'll be spittin' watermelon seeds in the pond, tearing into some smoked ribs, drinking a couple brews, and enjoying the devil's lettuce.

I hope y'all are floatin your boats however suits you!

Fuckin' a, gambo.  Bon appetit to you and your family.  Enjoy these precious times - and the seed-spittin'!

Well it was Memorial Day and my 92 years young client/patient is a WWII veteran. So for the day I gave him the best military shave and haircut I could give to date. He looked great his wife wanted him to workout and go outside. Bob and I looked at each other as if she had lost her mind....this man fought the Germans at the Battle Of The Bulge liberated a concentration camp etc and she wanted him to go out in the 93+ heat of the day. Unless we were walking out to the beach it wasn't going to happened so I told Bob let's turn on your boss Bose Stereo system of yours and listen to some jazz in your lounge massage chair. We did just that and one of the songs that came up was this classic that is 43 years old which Bob gave thumbs up to.

Hard to believe this band opened up for the likes of Van Halen a few tours ago. This song is the classic by

Im here in Worcester, Mass my home state for the next 10 days. I grew closer to the city though Dorchestah and Cambridge. Anyway, just behind me in the neighborhood there has been a Greek Festival since Friday costing just $2 to get in....the food has been great and learning the Greek moves on the huge dance area is fun and that's what summer is all about. Temps here are in the low 60s dropping to high 40s currently 4am, and i love compared  to Palm Beach FL.

So I'm rambling but this a lounge right where one can have a drink and talk right.....ok where was I going with all this.....oh so yeah it's summer now and it was cool and breezy at the festival, fireworks etc reminded of summer '78. It the rec dept of Tacoma Park MD that took me to my first concert ever. It was sold out Capital Centre and
Isley Brothers were the lead act with Teddy Pendergrass and others were openers, awesome awesome show with so many different people and this was one the tunes they played that jammed pack night....

    Summer Breeze.....The Isley  Brothers

Some time later my next concert was totally different, it was KISS far less group went to that show which was also ONLY$$10, that's right ten bucks today one needs $20 more to paark da caar.

Way to capture an early June morning groove, g.  Nice.

KISS (Cheap Trick opening) was my first-ever concert in...1978?  No idea of the cost of tickets but the memories, they remain.

Feel like holding on to good shit this morning, my little circles of family and friends.  The ripples of positivity needed to make, and receive.  Getting my head around the motives of violent fucks is beyond my mind's reach at the moment.

After the series of tweets the last few days I've seriously come to the conclusion for the first time that this adminstration and President can NOT BE TRUSTED. I know politics is the decoy of perception as written below but what these people in charge of this country have written about or to the mayor of London are beyond my reality. My body aches from what's written about people in a crisis situation all to further what's most important to this President.....
