EV appearance with U2

Curious on this one.  When talking about when I've seen PJ or just Ed, do I include his appearance with U2 the other night?  Does singing one verse with U2 count as seeing him in concert to any degree?  Of course it's not the same as him solo.  Not a huge deal, but appreciate any insight and/or opinions.
