The reviews for Iron Fist have been awful....it's at something crazy like 14% on Rotten Tomatoes. I may check out the first episode and see how it is, but not expecting much.

I had heard that as well but I've watched the first six episodes and I don't think it's as bad as they made it out to be.

I agree. I think it is OK, but not awful by any means. But I don't think it is nearly as good as the other three. And I think that may be the show runners fault. I'm not sure he is a fan of the character as much as the people running Daredevil, Luke Cage, and Jessica Jones are. And I felt they are trying to force too much into one season.

I actually really liked the start of it. Thought it sorta flamed out as the episodes went on.

finally getting around to watching Luke Cage, digging this one as well.  Halfway through season 1, liking it (not as much as Daredevil and Jessica Jones but still very good).

So I finished Luke cage the other day and started watching Iron Fist. I don't think it's as bad as people say it is to be honest. Still not as good as the others but not too bad.

Same showrunner as Iron Fist so that's no real surprise. That show was so disappointing to me, after waiting so long for a live action adaptation they just completely fucked up the main character. Colleen Wing was everything I hoped for though, they should have made her the 4th Defender.

So I'm happy to report that Spider-Man: Homecoming was fucking awesome. Tom Holland nails both Peter Parker and Spider-Man better than either of his predecessors. Even though it probably won't be considered the critical home run that Spider-Man 2 was I really think it captures the essence of Spider-Man and what makes him so great more than any film has yet. Michael Keaton was pretty top notch as Vulture too.

I agree. And hope they bring Keaton back in the future

That would be awesome! I'm curious to see how they will explain why no one has ever mentioned her or the Skrulls up until this point and where she has been.

It was good but not great. Way better than Iron Fist but a notch under most of the other solo seasons. They made Iron Fist/Danny a little bitmore tolerable so that was a big plus, there's some hope for the characters future now.

Still have to see Luke Cage and Iron Fist. I'm way behind on a lot of shows. One of the downsides of having access to so many shows. Not enough time

Mid-way through The Defenders.  I like it quite a bit.  There are parts that make me sit up and say 'Yah!', although there are some parts that drag a bit.  Danny is a whiny bitch but I like some of his scenes.  I like how they mix in the different languages.

Disney might be purchasing FOX's movies. So X-Men and Fantastic Four might be joining the MCU

Yeah, how do you go into this movie with realistic expectations? Impossible.

“Get this man a shield.” Wow that garnered some goosebumps. If only it could be rated R and he could have said “Get this man a fucking shield!”

Finished The Punisher last night.  Some really dark and violent stuff, but I absolutely loved it!  By far my favorite Marvel series on Netflix so far.

Just saw that they renewed it for a 2nd season...can't wait!
