I'm going to go find a quiet spot in the woods to cry. See you all later.

Wake and bake motherfuckers! 8am and I'm about to bless myself with some sweet peacepipe offerings while I finish building Moana's canoe for my niece's birthday party today.

    Amen, gambo.

Gorgeous sunny morning here, and enjoying some Island Sweet Skunk.

Would love to see a photo of the finished product, if you're so inclined.

(and feel free to caption it with "I did this WHILE HIGH" =) )
Your mission, should you choose to accept:
Get high enough to wish you were a kid again so you could play in this...

Ok, my phone isn't uploading because I am over on my 4G data, I will post it after midnight tonihgt when it rolls over.

Hedobot, have you seen any Jim Jeffries stand up? I think you might like him, he's about halfway between the Hicks and Carlin types and your more standard mainstream comedians.
    Way to keep me hanging!

Actually, last night is when I can say I got TOO high. Some little jelly edible with a delay in how hard it hits. Almost like mental hallucinations (but it was less pleasurable than you'd think).

I have heard of Jim but never seen his work. Just looked him up...his last name is Nugent =) I will check him out as I'm typically drawn to comedy that is Carlinesque...Hicksesque?

    And Ricklesesque :)
jim jefferies is amazing. his gun control bit is what made him famous. saw him live just a month or two ago. it was very funny.
The absolute best comedian of this decade! "The government has drones! You're bringing guns to a drone fight! Good luck with that!" His latest Netflix special, Freedumb, has an absolutely brilliant bit on Trump.

Fairly baked, winding down, and thinking about some discussion during a years-ago college psych class (and I'm sure it's taken place in other realms).

1 - How you see yourself
2 - How you think others see you
3 - How others actually see you
    4 - How you ARE

Especially when coupled with how we see ourselves....

    Yes and yes.

I think I'm mostly a good person - by my own standards, of course - but damn...there are many aspects of myself I do see and try to change, rise above - let it go! Or, accept that there will always be scars and scabs and hurdles and they all make up who I am.

    I need breakfast.

Here is some comfort. We are ever changing.. how we see ourselves, and how we are, is constantly changing as we grow and experience new things.. every so often those two aspects line up seamlessly... but this occurrence is more by chance than by ordained order. So enjoy these moments when they occur.

My sweetie and I split a 420 fortune cookie just now.  Last one had one with a quote by Hicks.

This one, by the mighty Hemingway - "The first draft of anything is shit".

    No shit, Ernie!

Whoa! This just blew my stoned mind! Stoned should probably be in quotes but there's nothing air quote worthy about my current state of stonededness. (Seriously? No way that's an actual word. My auto-correct has serious issues).
Anyways, I'm sitting under the stars in my usual state...buzzed, stoned, and pantless, "writing" (that one definitely deserves quotes) and just as I'm about to frantically hit the backspace key, I think of this quote and decide to edit tomorrow. Well, later today. Still may be shit, but you never know.

^^^ I'd like to know that too.

Tonight, I picked up new-to-me Redhead 18. So far I like it. And if this actually puts me to sleep, I'll be so freaking thrilled.

Monsoon tonight. Damn wind has been stealing my weed this past week. Now it stole my still-lit embers! I chased them down and stomped them out, so no fire. But damn!

The wind keeps stealing my weed. Not cool.

Btw, where'd all my fellow stoners go? Y'all quit???

(I almost typed that with a straight face )

Why do I burn my thumb every freakin time I light the lighter, no matter which way the wind is blowing? Am I the only one with this problem? Worst. Stoner. Ever.

Are you holding the lighter with the flint perpendicular to your thumb?  You can light it that way but when you tip it to the bowl you have to shift it so that it is more aligned with the direction of your thumb.  Also, offset your lighter hand to about 2 o clock at the bowl instead of dead on at Noon.
If you are using a bowl with carb on the right side, throw it away and buy a civilized bowl with left side carb.
