Pearl Jam rainstorm analogy

I've been thinking a lot about the PJ drummers recently in terms of their styles, time with the band, and how they fit with the entire band. And it made me think about weather, more specifically a rainstorm.
  • Krusen: the smell of rain in the air; something is coming
  • Chamberlain: the calm before the storm; a brief quiet stillness
  • Abbruzzese: the lightning; electricity
  • Irons: the thunder; pounding
  • Cameron: the rain; steady; long
