I've never understood why it isn't Maple Leaves. Glad to see them back in the playoffs! And the B's, too.

    My first round predictions:
    Rangers in 7 6
    Bruins Senators in 6
    Caps in 5 6
    Jackets Penguins in 6 5

    Hawks Preds in 6 4
    Blues in 7 5
    Ducks in 4
    Oilers in 6

Not great but not bad in the 1st round. Second round predictions:

    Rangers in 6
    Caps in 6
    Blues in 7
    Ducks in 6

    Good work.
As long as Fucks lose I am all good with any outcomes.

    Here is what I pick:
    Rangers in 5
    Caps in 7
    Preds in 6
    OIL in 7

    Go OIL!
(And if they lose? Go PREDS/BLUES! F those Ducks)

I, too, will pull for anyone out of the WC except the Ducks. Unless it's Ducks/Pens in the SC then I'm the biggest Ducks fan on the planet. I do have a small spot in my heart reserved for the Blues this year, since @2-feign-reluctance was kind enough to pull for the Cubbies last fall.

If I had to pick who I want to win....
Oil -just because they were so bad, for so long, Canada has been a chump @ their own game when it comes to NHL success, and they have some cool players on the team
then Caps (Justin Williams is forever a hockey hero to me)
    or
Rangers (my brother, @badbrains , @lolobugg , @dankind are all Ranger fans and I would be happy for them to hoist the cup. 94 was a fun memory for me and I obviously rooted against Rangers last time as a Kings fan.)

I think this Preds vs Blues series has to go 7 games. I just don't see any other way for it to end.

Have to pull for the Penguins now that my MapleLeafs are out of the playoffs.
Hoping for the Oilers vs Penguins in the Cup Finals

and I'm ok if someone or more than someone punches Kesler in the face

    Hilarious.
ESPN laid off Burnside, Pierre LeBrun and Buccigross. Even less hockey coverage there if that is possible.
And so you see, I have come to doubt

Somehow ESPN just increased their hockey knowledge by releasing those three.

I really like Burnside. LeBrun is good but he pretty much only writes about the Leafs. Buccigross is a complete clown.

    Bucci stays

Apparently his contract is up this summer and doesn't look like he'll be back. The guy tries do damn hard to look cool....it's really sad.

That whistle should have never been blown in the Caps Pens game with like 3 minutes left. Everyone was crashing the net, puck was free, Fluery got a free whistle and should buy the refs dinner.
Wouldn't it be funny if the world ended in 2010, with lots of fire?

Man we are in lockstep there. My nephew's baseball game started at 8:00 last night and I was pissing and moaning to the other parents about staying up until 1:30 the night prior watching the Oil beat the Ducks because I hate the Ducks so frigging much. Just wanted to sleep last night.

It got deflected twice. I don't think he saw it. Can't blame him for a fluke goal
