A few more hours and the new single comes out... I'm pretty excited about this, Incubus is a great band. Was watching this awhile ago, very cool jam session....

    I hope the new stuff sounds more like Light Grenades. Didn't like the last album that much.

    New single wasn't bad on first listen. Definitely back to Light Grenades and not INNW, which I actually liked. Excited for a summer tour

    Loving this new Incubus... Listened to it at least 6 times already today cranked up to let it sink in.. Great song, looking forward to this new album.

    Just listened to the new album 8. Mildly decent. Probably at the top of the bottom third of their albums. Highlights for me were Familiar Faces, Love In A Time of Surveillance, Make No Sound in the Digital Forest and Throw Out the Map. Album ends strong.

    Having a listen now, got it nice and cheap from hdtracks UK. I've not had any new tunes for a while, so I am kinda enjoying it.
    Mind you I've always had a soft spot for the 'Bus.
    Will nicely keep me going until Lanegan.

    Listened through once, and I like it. Gotta admit, I'm not a huge fan of Skrillex production, it sounds overproduced at times with too much going on. Also, the bass lines sometimes just turn into an EDM type mash and it muddies everything for me. The songs are fun and mostly high energy, and Brandon's vocals sound excellent (although occasionally distorted at time, again with the production). Only other gripe is that it's 11 tracks, but one is a total throwaway at less than 1 min, and another is instrumental - kinda lame after a 6 year break if you ask me. Overall, B- , nice to have them back.

    Haven't heard the new one yet but have been re-visiting Light Grenades a lot in recent months. I kinda overlooked that one back in the day but it's freakin incredible! Almost like discovering new music!
    Need to pick up 8 and give it a shot.

    Did the same thing. Abandoned them after A Crow Left of the Murder because I thought it was mostly terrible. Went on Google Play to make my Incubus greatest hits play list a few months back and chose about 6 tracks from it after I finally listened to it.

    I like this new album.... Last album was too chill and slow, good, but slow. This album has some great jams on it and a few cool chill songs. Definitely a great new album back to their sound in some sorts IMO.
