I was waiting for Trump to ask him:

"hey Bob, you gonna run in 2024? because you could run in 2020, but you'd have to get past me, and with my historic win back in November, that would be a really tough thing for you...everybody loves me......but it would be great to go up against such a great guy, a fabulous, really great guy....that would be fun....wouldn't it folks? yeah, it would"

I always love the american fascination with sports, like it means something in the real world. to be invited to the white house to meet the president like they did something of real value. like they are soldiers on the front lines or something.

    they played a game.

and there's no such thing as "world champions" in american sports, idiots. that makes me laugh, every single time.

Go get 'em Rex. Nah, no conflicts of interest nor any quid pro quo. Not possible with the most brilliant and productive administration since FDR.

Nobody is abandoning Trump just yet

    http://www.csmonitor.com/USA/Politics/2017/0418/Trump-voters-discontented-So-far-that-s-not-what-polls-say?cmpid=TW

It is Paul Ryan and congress that are taking the big hit. Democrats need to stop being distracted by Trump and should take on a do nothing congress district by district.

    Ted fucking Nugent.
Here are some statements made by the "man" invited to the White House for dinner.

"If it was up to me, if you uttered the word 'gun control,' we'd put you in jail."

"Obama, he's a piece of shit. I told him to suck on my machine gun."

"Apartheid isn't that cut-and-dry. All men are not created equal."

"I'm beginning to wonder if it would have been best had the South won the Civil War."

"Jesse Jackson and Al Not-So-Sharpton would be lisping their ebonic mumbo-jumbo that the policy and the president are racist and bigoted."

"Those big uneducated greasy black mongrels on there, they call themselves rap artists."

"Foreigners are assholes; foreigners are scum; I don't like 'em; I don't want 'em in this country; I don't want 'em selling me doughnuts; I don't want 'em pumping my gas; I don't want 'em downwind of my life -- OK?"

"In an unauthorized entry, armed, like they are right now, invading our country, I'd like to shoot them dead."

"What's a feminist anyways? A fat pig who doesn't get it often enough?"

I haven't heard most of these.

I knew he was an idiot, but I never realized he was an idiot of the highest order (I have to admit to liking his position on crime and punishment more than I hated it though).

Trump... he's orange. Hope he plays well this weekend... otherwise, some poor country is going to get their sand blown up.

    What a twit.

honestly, I get it, the custom of respect of taking off your hat. I, however, have never understood the relation of respect to being hatless. it's probably a military thing, where the general keeps his hat on, but everyone else takes theirs off, so the heirarchy is obvious, but that's just a guess.

other than that, I couldn't care less if someone keeps their hat on inside.

I'm the same. I don't care. There's no logic to it really- it's just an antiquated custom that's supposed to demonstrate respect.

That's not to say I don't take my hat off where I'm 'supposed to' so that other's dinners aren't ruined (like Tony's).

The problem is that you should be able to imagine the conservative uproar if Obama had had a black guest with a hat on in the Oval Office.

So you are assuming something....and to me it doesn't matter either way. Pretty sure ole Bill Clinton owns the record for worst ways to disrespect the white house.

I think Rock looks very respectful. I think Nugent's hat is ridiculous, but so is he.

It's not an assumption, it's a fact. They lost it when Michelle wore a sleeveless dress for Hell's sake. Of course a pornographic model is ok, but damn those sleeveless dresses.

Yeah, Kid Rock looks very respectful mocking the former First Lady at her portrait!

I think Rock looks very respectful. I think Nugent's hat is ridiculous, but so is he.
No chance. Every time Jackie was away I'll bet that place was like a scene from "Eyes Wide Shut".

Yeah but we know for a fact old slick willy was up to no good. I thought about Kennedy though...but to be fair to clinton, we only know for a fact the 1 time...I'm betting Willy had lots more going on as well. And, he probably wore a hat and only a hat during most of these events.

Hats on, not only inside, but inside the f'ing White House

Really? Ok grandma. What a weird thing to notice/care about. Not a fan of nugent or kid rock really, but I'm continually amazed at what people get pissed off about.
The problem is that you should be able to imagine the conservative uproar if Obama had had a black guest with a hat on in the Oval Office.
So you are assuming something....and to me it doesn't matter either way. Pretty sure ole Bill Clinton owns the record for worst ways to disrespect the white house.
