Can't believe I'm voting off a Stone song...

Never understood the unfavoritism/dislike/hate for Evacuation.</blockquote

Round one was easy for me...like Soon Forget, but it's my least favorite.

It's more of an Eddie Vedder song than a Pearl Jam song, isn't it?

I figure if it's on a Pearl Jam album, it's a Pearl Jam song. But I know what you mean. There are several songs like that though.

Evacuation is top three weakest links in their catalog.
Gtf with the win, can't argue that one.

You've yet to make your "(insert song) for the win" cheer yet for this round!
My personal favs on this album are grievance and parting ways. I think rival is great studio but never translated well live. The rest are just meh. (Binaural is my second least liked album.)
So I m going parting ways for the win!!

Almost forgot about light years...secret sleeper. But I m still going paring ways.
    What about you rummy?

Should have been on a uke album
  • Rival

Shit! Rival already has 5 votes!!! Dang, I'd hate for it to be the third song to go this round (one could see the other two's dismissal coming from a mile away).

Rival makes you want to walk a mile in the opposite direction when you hear it.
It doesn't even belong on lost dogs.

WOW! Ding ding ding! I'm with the majority on this one so far. That really surprises me- I thought that was a Binaural fan favorite. Guess not!

The easiest choice for me would be Evacuation (in the all time bottom 3 PJ songs for me), but that would be a wasted vote at this point so I'll help to stick the boot into Rival instead!

I´m surprised about the amount of votes so early into the first round.
I meant to vote for Evacuation, but messed it up. Still it´s not like God´s Dice is my favourite, probably will stick one more round.
Why isn´t anybody considering NAIS for the final?

Not a lot of love for Soon Forget. I actually like it, but I realize I'm probably in the minority.

I dunno. To each his (or her) own, I suppose.

In any event, it isn't looking good for Rival early on so I'd better post this now before it's gone!

I don't get the dislike for Evacuation! Love the odd time signatures - Ed's howl - there's just too much good here people!

Hence why your name is pulled from the lyrics. Always liked the lyrics to Evacuation.

Push come to shove, probably my "favorite" album. I wish I could take away voting privileges for anyone who disagrees. Also would have come in handy last November...

Haha! I'm with you. Love this album.

It's time to evacuate Rival right out.

Boo! How dare you. Rival is awesome. That guitar riff alone. Love it live when Ed let's those howls go.

Agreed. Love that tune. My album favorites are probably Insignificance & Light Years.

I am also glad that Rival is not a staple song live.

Unfortunately, even though it well behind the Evacuation and Soon Forget, it's in thrid place and already reached the 10-vote minimum to be eliminated.

We need to start an anti-Sleight of Hand or anti-Thin Air campaign!

I think it's a great song but its safety is significantly helped by not being one of the 10 choices.

It can't even make a showing on a virtual poll.

NAIS is easily a Top 5 PJ song for me. I'm not a fan of a lot of Binaural - NAIS and Present Tense are so far above everything else on this record it's not even funny.
