Please don't ever mention oasis again while discussing the hall of fame. Thank you.

I like this idea and list with such top acts like Slayer, Pixies, Smashing Pumpkins, The Smiths, Faith No More, NIN etc

    but
I do miss Depeche Mode, Joy Division and Blur
A list like that could be not complete without them in my opinion! Depeche Mode should have been inducted 10 years ago along with The Cure!

I would even add the following acts
The Offspring, Stone Roses, INXS, Morrissey, Echo & The Bunnymen, Manic Street Preachers, Siouxsie and The Banshees etc

Is Dave A on the shirt?

Do you have shares in him or something?
    Yes.

And with Chad Channing being listed, I thing it's kind of interesting Dave A's not. Whatever.

Im kind of assuming Jeff didnt make the shirt. Unless he's a closet Bon Jovi / Motley Crue fan. Maybe its his tho

Let's just say that Jeff has pretty broad musical tastes. His choices to present on Sirius are, for me, always the most interesting of the band members.

What a great list! A few missing that surprised...

...but maybe now we know why Neil didn't make it that night.

Nice to see Roxy Music getting some love. :-) I can't believe they aren't in the HOF.

I think they are awesome but not sure if they're a "lock." I hope that they do get in, however. Lots of great tunes - even beyond their first two albums.

    He missed Living Colour.

Styx should probably be in, too. Huge in the 80s.

Cool shirt, but a lot of those are a stretch and I'd venture to say that most in this thread are as well.

I get wanting to recognize your idols who came before you, but many of those artists on that shirt have no business being in the HOF. I mean, why not just let in every band ever?
