Killer! So this is right outside of Nashville? I've always wanted to check out that city. Memphis is one of my favorite cities in the US.

    Hopefully more US dates follow.

Yes, Franklin is about a 15-20 minute drive (after 8pm) from downtown Nashville. If Memphis is one of your favorite cities, then Nashville will be amazing lol

Any locals have thoughts on the Aloft Hotel in Franklin? Booked our room there so hopefully it's a decent place.

Yeah, it should be pretty good. I don't know anybody that has stayed there, but it's next door to D1 sports training and a lot of the athletes that train there (NFL/NBA/MLB draft hopefuls and even current pros) stay there. Most everything in the area is chain restaurants, but It's about 50 yards from Jonathans, which is a local sports bar with really good food and beer specials (happy hour all day usually on Saturday and Sunday during football season which is when this festival is) and 200-300 yards from Brewhouse South which is another local sports bar with about 100 beers on tap with lots of local beer selections and really good food also. The Cool Springs Galleria(big mall) is right there too about 500 yards away. You're about a 10 minute drive to the farm from that hotel depending on if you get caught at all the traffic lights.

I'm not really a festival person, but I think I'm about to purchase VIP tickets to this. Vibe seems way different than other festivals and I've been wanting an excuse to visit Nashville

Does anyone know if this is a festival that would come close to selling out? I'm trying to convince a group to join me, and I don't see them being willing to pull the trigger on tickets six months in advance. Trying to figure out how long I can wait before buying tickets.

1:30-2 hours for this I think. It's supposed to end around 8, but headliners usually come on around 6-6:15ish

It has not sold out, to my knowledge, either year (this is the 3rd year of this festival). Last year they did average about 15k people per day, which probably is somewhat close to a sellout. I figure maybe 17.5k people for a day. However, with bigger names this year, it could sell out. I do know there are a lot of people that live here that don't know much about it at all, which tells me they don't watch local news at all since it's been all over that

Pony, so you are saying the end time will be 8ish? I have a group coming in from Clarksville looking to Airbnb somewhere, but we may just come back home.

That's what the website says. One of my friends who went the first year, said it was over around 8:30. So yeah, you should be good to go just driving back to Clarksville. there are several houses right in the area, so I'm sure they don't want loud music late at night

And in recent years, the Nashville market has been really fast to sell out regular shows. Don't know if it's the music-biz connections taking up too many seats, or scalpers being particularly clever around there, but their arena shows (like two nights of Adele, or a Mumford & Sons show, to name two that gave trouble to my Nashville friends trying to buy) are often selling out in minutes. I think the presence of a superstar like Timberlake would drive this fest to sell much, much faster than it has in its first couple of years; probably the only reasons it didn't sell out immediately was the surprise-attack way it was announced on the on-sale date, and the $175 price tag being high for people only interested in JT.

That $175 is misleading. My tickets after fees were around $206.
