I'll buy it-- in the sense that I'll buy anything anyone says about any band as long as I don't think their lying. I'm only in my heads so I have no idea how others hear things.

I'm also of the opinion that there is no such thing as "bad" music. I got hammered for saying that once though on another forum.

I liked the first 4 studio albums. I saw them live on the recovering the satellites tour. Counting crows are just boring live.

I love that Dylan tribute song they did way back. Thought I had a single of that but can't find it. Wishful thinking?

Boring live is being nice. I've seen them 3 times and I'm done. They are terrible live. Love their records but I'm done seeing them. After 1st time, my friend said I just got a bad show, "which happens". I tried a second time and it was better but still not that good. And finally I saw them a third time only because it was front row 30 minutes from the house. Still no good.

Saw them open for The Who in 2002, I think. They sucked. Was told they were having an off night. Never felt any great desire to see them again.

Probably the worst live band I've ever seen. Just awful.

I've never had any interest in seeing them live again. The first 4 albums are great, but live they are a snooze fest . On the plus side, the wallflowers did play before, and were far better. Also, judging from that video above, doesn't seem like their show appearance has changed much since I saw them almost 20 years ago.
