Yes! Aside from the snowstorm happening at the moment, this is usually my favorite time of year. It starts to get warmer, there are buds on the tress, flowers and plants start to sprout from the ground, no mosquitoes, it is lighter, longer...you can feel the potential of everything in the air. Love it!

What is the best thing about a snowstorm?

Staying home and making food from things you have. It is usually a pretty successful venture. That pie made out of pantry items doesn't taste as good as I hoped.

Have you gotten great concert tickets lately?

When was the last time you went to a museum?

When was the last time you went to a museum?

Can an Art Gallery be considered? If yes then in November I went to a Chuck Sperry show.

Before that it was a few years before when I was visiting the Montauk Lighthouse.

What kind of dining set defines you as a person?

This is one of the oddest yet most wonderful questions I've seen.

Are we talking dishes? Silverware? Dining table and chairs?

I guess minimalist and "use it till it can't be used anymore" would apply. We got rid of our dining table a few years ago. Too large for our place and rarely utilized for its intended purpose. Dishes and cutlery are from when I bought this place in '91.

Piggy-backing on the question, what - if anything - defines you as a person?

What sort of thing makes your day brighter?

When people are kind to and courteous of each other. When I can give in that way, or even observe others doing so.

I wish that weren't so uncommon as to present itself that way.

(isn't that what we're supposed to do anyway?)

And, coming across the random West Hollywood animals, whether it be a dog being walked, a scampering squirrel, cat on a leash (even a freak on a leash).

Ever feel like you ramble on? And if so, good release?

Also @hedonist if you google the question "what kind of dining set defines you as a person" you'll get a chuckle!

(tempo, I have never seen Fight Club!)

I think Millennials are like any other generation. Some tough, some delicate, most in between. Maybe coddled more than their parents were, who were coddled more than their parents were, etc...

Do you get regular food cravings and if so, for what?

    (edit - I just image-Googled "millennials"...funny yet sad)

Nope, I don't have any PJ socks.

Do you have one of the kickass PJ scarves from a few years ago, or are you kicking your own ass for not purchasing one then??

Sometimes, and when I do it's hard core, full throttle...like I'm making up for any lost time. However, sometimes I'm preoccupied with my thoughts and it takes me a while to unwind to that point where I actually start living in the moment.

Do you fight for what you believe?
  • deadendpdeadendp Northeast Ohio Posts: 10,434
I do. Sometimes in a quiet but obvious way. Sometimes full on. Depends upon the situation.

What are you looking forward to this week?

Skiing up at Sunday River in Maine with friends and family. It was a much needed trip in every way imaginable. Total peace of mind up there.

That would be today. My plans would be catching up on things that didn't happen as I was out on the annual work buying trip.

Have you enjoyed a hot beverage today? (I did! Much caffeine! TEA!!!) =)

Definitely exercise.. at last four times a week I shake my ass in some form of dance class at the studio. The rest of the time I might get out my aggression through running. But...definitely through physical activity... Oh yeah, and that in turn revives me and gives me energy.

Do you experience a temporary high before an event you are really looking forward to?

    Sometimes.

If you had to leave your present job, how long would it take you to clear out your personal belongings?
