2005/6 bootleg cd's

just noticed a couple of months ago that nugs are producing the 2000 shows (see shop) different covers etc. does anyone know if the 2005/6 shows will be coming along anytime on cd. i'm a total techno idiot (seriously if i knew how to download and make cds i'd have them already). does anyone have any insight on this. i've got all the other official boots plus some pre 2k. would happily buy all these too 10c...

Nugs replied back to me a year or so back on Twitter that they will be selling Pearl Jam 2005 CD's. No official date when though. Crossing fingers they do but also sell a silver CD 2005 Box Set.

I was thinking about that. At first I thought it was a wash because the old tour method was big tour, a few years off, big tour a few years off. But even if you add up 3 years of shows it doesn't get up that high. Plus when you do 80 in one year it's hard to duplicate locations, whereas with small tours they often return to US NorthEast, but not so much other places. Doing a bunch in a row really spreads out the tour. I definitely miss those days.

Maybe it was that last year before they really became "family men".

And I also think that they really wanted to make a mark with that record - it sold good, it was a return from Riot Act. Didn't they do alot of media for that too?

My first tour. And I still see it as a peak. Eddie looked hot-hot-hot and they sound reeeeaaaallly good on that tour. The 2008-tour was the first time I though "Oh... Eddie sounds off on this boot".

That would be pretty freaking sweet. Before CDR burning / trading, I picked up a few 1996 Pearl Jam bootleg cassette tapes at this shop across the street of Much Music in Toronto upstairs this coffee shop. They had a shit load of audio tapes for sale. Few months earlier, Pearl Jam did their live broadcast of Berlin on 102.1 The Edge. That show's many MANY audio FM / SBD sources pretty much was the hottest unofficial CD bootleg release that I have ever seen @ local record stores. The Checkpoint Charlie Bootleg is still my favorite CD.
