    Petey was from NC and ended up with us here in NJ. We got him 1st. Rice was abandoned and found a few miles from our house. Then she was returned twice and was in the pound for a year-ish. She didn't get along with others they say and reported by previous adopters to be not good with kids. We brought Petey to do a meet and greet with Rice before we adopted her and everyone's jaw dropped at the shelter when we let 'em loose in a pen and they got along real well. The rest is history. Now my 4-year old nephews are giving commands to and being obeyed by this "non-kid-friendly" dog

    They sure do. A bit too much sometimes. This is probably gross and TMI but she has a habit of licking his ween. And I shit you not he would sit there and lift a leg and take it. If I am allowed to post it here, I can probably get a video of him putting his paw on her head to stay down there. The one bad behavior I still couldn't fix. It's very embarrassing when we have visitors. So far our only "issue" with them

    OMG!! The Pibbles are adorable! As for the 'love each other' comment. Pibbles get very socially attatched to the dogs they live with; the people too! It's part of what makes them such loyal pets! Love em'!!
