LOVE alaska, went there for my honeymoon, would love to go back someday! granted, it would all depend on when they went as to if i could go at that exact time. also, when they announce it. if they already had other shows that i went to and then announced it, i might not have the vacstion time or the $$$ to do it all. but in theory, you bet i'd be there!
and hell, if they actually played the gig ON our anniversary, june 20th...it would seem we were/are destined to be there.....so another, hell yes!
tho, i am misiing out on my birthday gig in oz, 11.22.....again. 2006 and 2009. *sighs*
I might consider it. I'm kind of close already, and could take one of those ferry/cruise trips up there or something. That's supposed to be spectacular.
With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful. Strive to be happy. ~ Desiderata
Great! Some more support. Add some shows to a west coast tour. If PJ can have shows in Newfoundland after shows in eastern Canada, i don't see why they couldn't have Anchorage shows after playing Seattle/Vancouver/Portland/etc.
I would definitely go. Have always wanted to see Alaska, just need a push from PJ.

I lived my whole life in anchorage, until 2016, I moved down to Bellingham WA. I still go home all the time to see my mom and family and such, so I'd easily go
The Dead played 2-3 shows in Anchorage in the 80's...I can't remember what the venue was though. Alaska is a great spot in the summer. 4th of July parades at 2am in Juneau..good times.
West High Auditorium. June 19,20, & 21st. A fuckin' high school gym. Let's see P.J. top that.

I've got family in North Pole outside of Fairbanks, so I'm definitely in. Spent 5 weeks there the summer I turned 16, and another couple when I was 19. 38 now, so it's been way too long since I've been back. Good excuse as any to make the return trip to see the greatest band on the planet, in one of the most beautiful places on the planet. 24 daylight in June/July is fantastic too.
