  • The War Pigs clip on Youtube sounded fantastic, wish I hit on the lottery. And must have been fun for Cornell to do MSG, probably has been a while for him. Maybe Audioslave did once or twice?

Great show! A lot better than I was expecting. . You could tell they were having a blast too so I wouldn't be surprised if they came back around. I'm not a big Mother Love Bone fan but did enjoy their take on the songs. Honestly was kind of weird to me how Pearl Jam was like a completely different band. Probably enjoyed the structure of a short tour playing the same songs as opposed to 3 hours a night of mixing it up? I don't know but I loved it. I did kind of hope Eddie came out for Hunger Strike but otherwise, I was super happy with what they did. Also loved that they didn't play PJ and Soundgarden tunes and stuck to covers from around the era of ToTD or that they were into from that era. Getting to hear Seasons and River of Deceit live? Are you fucking kidding me? Awesome! And man were they fucking tight on Achille's Last Stand! Really loved Fascination Street too! I'd love an official boot, but let's be real that probably won't happen due to all the covers. But if anybody can steer me in the direction of unofficial boots that would be much appreciated! Hopefully we haven't seen the last of ToTD and to everyone going on the west coast - you're in for a treat!

Yup, but you can tell for him it was kind of a treat to have fans behind the stage. It seemed like it was kind of novel for him because I don't recall anynsoundgarden or audioslave shows having full arena seating like that. Not like I saw every show they ever did, but I would be surprised if he's ever had that more than a handful of times, if ever.

Remember that time we saw a concert on a Monday night not knowing how scary the world would become the following night?

my first concert ever, completely blew my mind.
Beavis: All my friends are brown and red? What does that mean?
Butthead: It means that his friends are like turds and that they like suck.
Beavis: Heh heh. Oh yeah. Yeah! Get those spoons out of my face before I shove them up your butt!
    Butthead: Huh huh.

This concert was EPIC in so many ways. I hadn't been to a rock show in years and when I saw TOTD was going to do a few shows I had to get my hands on a couple of tickets. Me and the wife went to NYC and I was blown away. I saw STP in 2000 and that was like the last concert I had been to that I really enjoyed. Needless to say the TOTD show took me back 25 years and reminded me of what these bands made me feel when I go see them. So I made it a priority to go to as many shows as I can moving forward now that kids are older. 2017 kicked off with RHCP in Philly, next is Soundgarden in Detroit and Tom Petty in Philly. Plus I am working on seeing Tool in Pitt and Soundgarden in Denver. Rock On!

    Even more epic now.

Will never forget the opening Say Hello, as the band get louder....the crowd gets louder. After Mike's solo, the Garden went nuts. Took me awhile to let it sink in, hey that's Chris with Mike, Stone, Jeff and Matt. Memories

This band must have practiced a ton because they were tight. My favorite stuff was the MLB stuff, along with Reach Down and Say Hello 2 Heaven. So happy to have been close to the stage but I'm sure I would have loved it even from the last row. This was magical and I'm so happy they decided to celebrate their 25th as well. 2016 was very special and this was a great way to cap it off. Here's to 2017 and the rock and roll hall of fame!
I'm so happy I made it to this show. RIP Chris.
