Exactly no reason the 10clubbers and I know a lot personally who went to both Philly and both MSG shows had to hear a lot of the same songs 3 or 4 times
No one forced you so had is a pretty strong statement. Lucky you can go to that many. They've done 2 full shows in the last 13 years here in MN and 2 half shows with Petty. Most fans can't follow the band around and have to pick a show here or there. Pearl Jam is found the best they can to make everyone have a great time by mixing in standards with the rarities. Pretty much no other band does that.
    It's a hopeless situation...

    Just got back to hotel.

Seeing PJ on my birthday was absolutely awesome and I am thankful

With that being said, this show is in my bottom half of shows I've seen. First set was basically all singles, and too many covers for me

The energy was there, but nothing about tonight gave me that "MSG is special" feel

Yeah if it was on the radio just post it

Since my inbox is getting bombarded with my fellow friendly PJ board members, rumor has it that the final event at Joe Louis Arena in Detroit will be a PJ show in 2017. Detroit Red Wings radio broadcaster announced it over the air during a game, and Chelios has said he cannot confirm or deny that and listen to what Eddie said during the 2014 Detroit show.

The same reason I can't stand hearing Even Flow every show, is the same reason I skip Money when I listen to Dark Side or Black Dog on Zeppelin IV, after about 5,000 times hearing a song, part of you just disconnects. Having said that, I do love this version

First of all, just post the damn rumour. Second of all, im sure it's all bullshit anyway. Some loose talk on a radio broadcast hardly sounds credible. If it's relating to the notion that this might be the last tour for a while, I dont believe it. Simply for the fact that an album is somewhat in progress, and there's no way they release an album and dont tour it.

oh I didn't get to go to any, I am way too broke and Pearl Jam fucking hates playing shows in Seattle anymore (probably all the free ticket requests), and I never said forced, but some people used up all their vacation time and spent a lot of money to go to those shows, and maybe that is their fault, and going to a Pearl Jam show shouldn't be such a high priority, but then I have been guilty of that too, much to the bewilderment of family and friends who don't get the Pearl Jam obsession

The proof does lie in the proverbial pudding - the 2014 Detroit bootleg
What was said on the bootleg?

I'm confused about what this means for PJ's playing live. I couldn't find the initial comment but it appeared to be within the context of PJ's not playing anymore, not merely that they will close out an arena like they did the spectrum. Am I being stupid?
