New to Ten Club :)

Hey all.

Just wanted to say hi and I am new to Ten Club. I am 25 and have been listening to Pearl Jam since I was in high-school and finally took the dive to become an Analog Member.

I am mostly on a Nine Inch Nails message board but it seemed very necessary to be a part of this group. Super stoked. Love the fanbase.

Confession: I have actually never been able to PJ live. My mom saw them here in Memphis in 2000. (she introduced me to PJ) Hopefully I will be able to someday and meet some of you. (Wish, I could talk my wife into it since I did use PJ lyrics in my wedding vows haha)

Again, hi, hello...Very excited to be a part of the Ten Club. :)

    Roo is the best. I've worked many times there and even when the lineup isn't so great, the vibe is amazing. Plus the best band on earth is playing this year! Go go go!

    Welcome!! Have you listened to any bootlegs? They will give you a sense of the live shows, but seeing them in person takes it to another level. Start saving your money now...it becomes an addiction.

    I usually get on a bootleg purge every Spring and Summer. It started early this year... I usually listen to my favorite boots every year and then venture out to some new ones based on referrals.

    This year I started by listening to 2000, 2003 and 2006 all the way through.

    Just downloaded Hartford '08...listed today for first time. WOW. I am lacking in 2011-15 boots. Although the 2014 Memphis boot is superb given that Ed was sick. Hate that I was unable to at least make the first PJ show in my hometown in 14 years. :bawling:

    Many of the shows from the past few years are on youtube so you can watch full concerts, in case you weren't aware. They are amazing, multicam creations of full live shows with great audio. Just search for "Pearl Jam multicam" on YouTube and you get a big list of results. :)

    I live in the south as well (Birmingham). Hopefully PJ will make it easy(er) on our wallets in 2017 and make proper pit stops in Nashville and ATL!
