Is price an issue? Boston is super-expensive. If it were I, I'd Air B&B it. But the Verb looks super cool if price is not an issue (and from what I've heard): http://www.theverbhotel.com/.

We got the Midtown Hotel for 188 on Hotwire tonight. I'm sure it's a no tell motel but we've stayed at the Motel 6 in Hartford so if it's any better than that I'm ok with it : ) Boston is super expensive so anything relatively close is worth the $$.

I booked 4 nights at the Verb, but lost out on tickets. Hoping I can score 1 ticket for each night during the public sale.

Willing to open up my home for a group of fans in exchange for a pair of tickets to either night. In Brookline. Just a 10 minute walk to Fenway.

I booked the Boston Park Plaza, as well. Mostly because its slim pickins at this point. Looks a little run down from the reviews on Trip Advisor, but I only plan on sleeping there.

It definitely doesn't look glamorous but from what I've read there is a renovation underway and all rooms will be complete by June. Fingers crossed!!

Anyone who thinks this place is run down is either ridiculously wealthy or absurdly high maintenance. Trust me, IT IS NOT. POTUS stayed there last time he was in town.

I think that impression is coming from a few questionable photos posted on TripAdvisor.

I booked the Courtyard about $350 but using points. Seems like 30 min train ride.

How late do trains run in Boston?

I know Wrigley 13 ended way later than expected but never want to relive that train ride again.

Agreed. I've never heard of anyone ever say the Park Plaza is rundown.

Boston trains stop at 1 still I believe. You can literally walk across the city in an hour so I wouldn't worry.
