I like the weapons training with Dylan. I guard stuff... marijuana. Oh Dylan I dont approve, anyway.... how do I shoot?

    that was pretty great.

I was surprised the sheriff tossed the money. unless he replaced the money we saw with something else before going down to the docks. I kinda thought the sheriff was in on the thing. I think he might still be in on something else, and that was just for norma's benefit since he knew she was there.

I do agree that the actress who plays norma is exceptional. But I still wanna know what happened with Jao in the woods, if she's alive or not. And what the deal is with this marina water that everything gets dumped into. Norman's blood from the face wound she was cleaning is going to be in this teacher lady's apt. so it's almost certain sheriff romero is going to have him as suspect #1 early in the next season.

Finally caught up to the season finale. This show is so crazy, most of the characters are out of their godamn minds.

The Chinese girl in the woods is dead.
Vera Farmiga(who plays Norma) is a great actress. She could be up for an Emmy nominee for he role in this show.

This is one of my favorite new shows of the year. It's just fun to watch.

Looks like a good season is a-brewing. Sheriff Romero is still my favorite character. He's more shrink than lawman. Just great stuff.

I think Bradley needed a bit more time in the mental institution.

I'm glad I can comment without reading the last few posts...I got sucked in and am also recording the 'After Hours' show.

Haven't seen the newest episode...it's waiting for me on the DVR (I did try to watch the marathon but 'someone' got irritated with me :eyeroll:)

I enjoyed last nights show, ending was a little surprising. Missed after hours, how was that?

    it was kinda fun...I decided I don't like Vera much-or she's a terrible interviewee.

So I'm FINALLY caught up, Dylan killed Ford, Bradley killed her dad's boss and faked her death, Dylan saved Norman, Norman beat the lie detector, but still admitted to banging his teacher, Emma knows most of the family secrets, Romero is a tough cookie to figure out...did I miss anything?

The last season episode of After Hours was okay, it'a kind of weird to hear the British accents from Freddie and Olivia. 'okey-dokey'...hahahahahaha

This show is still going eh? Sounds pretty good. I watched the first couple episodes but then got side tracked. It's on Netflix though - maybe I'll go back to it. My dad keeps asking me if I've watched it because he's apparently in some episodes (he's a retired principal who now works randomly as an extra haha).
Interesting conversation earlier about series continuity and how this is a prequel but staged in modern times. This seemed very natural to me actually. I think it was a great choice to make it modern day. It opens up a lot of options for the writers.

BTW, anyone seen the 1998 Psycho remake with Norman played by Vince Vaughan? I'm sure there is plenty for Psycho fans to complain about about, but IMO it's the best acting Vince Vaughan has ever done (I generally find him very unlike able as a actor). He is super creepy - even more so than the original character I thought. That is not to say the movie's better than the original. I just liked his role a lot.

This show is very entertaining. I like it.

The girl... the blond... I don't remember her name. She's in the new Transformers movie playing Marky Mark's annoying daughter. I hope Dylan gets a large chunk of storyline in the next season.

    soooooo.....
Anika is/was a 'lady of the night', yes/no?
I had to rewind the dog part...why do they show super dark scenes and you can hardly see anything?
    Romero is a swinger?

I thought it was a wild wolf or coyote until the guy asked about a dog.

That I'm not sure about. I think most likely just schmoozing.

Was that weird neighbor guy with the dog and the "are you growing tomatoes" Opie from Sons of Anarchy?
