I second that. I have seen him twice, loved it both times. Plus he has a really good band. His drummer, bassist and guitar player have been with him forever and are actually very very good. I think his bass player even played with Frank Zappa, which is some nutty useless trivia.

I think I read that Dweezil Zappa has played additional guitar parts for Al on a few tracks for a album or so. Read it in the liner notes on his essential album. Al's band is great and it's all original members from when they first started as a band 30 years ago. I highly recommend seeing Al at least once . Very good show. Like I said earlier, he meets fans at his bus after the show. Will take pictures, sign stuff, and down to earth. He acts just like he does on tv personality wise- he truly loves what he does. He plays old stuff live too not just newer parodies or originals. Good show. I'll see him again.

"Eat it" will always be my favorite. Besides being a great parody, Eddie Van Halen played on it.

I love the sense of humor people have. MJ, obviously loved him. Nirvana knew they "made it" when he wanted to use one of their songs.

not my favorite song off it, but not bad. So far i like the "Tacky" video the best but Word Crimes is a better overall song.

The whole album is really good. The Foos and Pixies parodies were real good. I also liked the Lame Claim to Fame song and the Radioactive parody as well.

Me, every time Al has a new release:

I saw him live last year from the front row. We made direct eye contact. I consider this one of my life's greatest achievements. I don't care how much of a doofaloofus it makes me. I love this man.

Somehow ended up at a week long Baptist camp as a teenager (lmao), and the pastor had a "revelation" one day about music. He had an extensive cassette collection with a lot of rock and shit (including Pearl Jam!) all hauled up there in suitcases for the summer, and i thought he was about as cool as a Baptist pastor at a religious camp was ever going to get because of it. But one day he decided to fucking lose his Baptist mind and call it all against God and decided it was ruining kids and society, so he sat all 120 of us at the camp down for about two hours while he smashed every last awesome tape that he had while preaching like a lunatic............ the only ones he didn't smash were all his Weird Al Yankovic tapes. True story. =))

That... is one HECK of a story!! If you ever meet Weird Al, you *must* tell him that story - that is one for his autobiography! :)
