I just saw one on Ebay sell for $230! I know it is the rarest card but $230 seems crazy for one card that originally came in a five dollar pack.

crazy. Almost now seems worth it to buy the full set the next time they show up on ebay, keep the webb for those that need it and then sell off the rest

Again, this all goes away if 10c simply prints more and help make everyone happy (except the guy paying $200 for Webb etc LOL)

yeah I wonder if the guy that sold one for ten bucks buy it now is regretting that now.
if you think what I believe is stupid, bizarre, ridiculous or outrageous.....it's ok, I think I had a brain tumor when I wrote that.

This may just be the most profitable item to flip ever! Follow my math here because I go by selling price percent increase.

The card came in a 5 dollar pack that consisted of 10 cards and a sticker. So if I were to separate the the individual cards original selling price it would be 5/11= .45. So..

    $230/.45= 511.11 * 100= 51,111% price increase!

    For comparison...

    Benny $1200/35= 34 * 100= 3400%

    Chicago Blackie Poster $1700/30= 57 * 100= 5700%

It's a flippers dream sale

I don't consider myself a flipper by any means. In fact, I think I have "lost" any trades I have ever done. (Not that there's winners or losers, but you know what I mean...I've never really cared - if someone really wants something I have they can send me a t-shirt or boot from the shop...) anyway enough explanation.

If someone offers me a Lost Dogs vinyl, they can have my Webb :lol:

    Staggering!
George did tell me they only made about 400 of that card, and he has a whole uncut sheet. Typical card sheets have 132 cards. That leaves about 268 out there, assuming they were all released to the public. Anyone know how many total sets were produced not including the Webbs?
This is a very rare card. I think only 2 have been on the auction site. Full sets, with Webb, are going for $500+. That is probably going higher soon!

I guess I won't ask anyone here to trade me a George anymore, but I do need George, and Ed with bat if anyone wants to trade!!
