  • Saw these guys (AND got to MEET THEM!!!!!!) last night. WOW. Couldn't believe that they just walked out after the show and mingled with the few people left. Just about lost my shit.

They are selling out venues in Europe but played in Denver last night at a super small venue that holds about 250. It seemed pretty full, but I wasn't paying much attention to the crowd - I was in the very front

Fucking amazing. Move over Eddie and make room for Jay.

  • Mine too! Before they did that song, Jay talked about how his little boy is his face of light than did a bluesy intro before launching into it. Wish I'd gotten it on video but it was too intimate a moment to put a camera in his face.

Steepwater is a great band but they are even 10 times better live. Talk to the guys every time they come to GB. Great guys super approachable, just like Rival Sons apparently. I think they should be touring together. :D

I have been telling everyone I know in the northeast that this band is the BOMB!
Even jimmy page gave these guys props I'm a rolling stone interview.
The lead singer has pipes and a stage presence of a young Robert Plant.
Run ... Don't walk .. The next time Rival Sons comes to your town..!
    You heard it here first..

These guys quickly became one of my favorite bands. I'm stoked for the new album they are recording this fall as well. Was super bummed when I went to see them in June in Vancouver and the concert got cancelled, but now I've got tickets to see them in February SO EXCITED!

The boys are recording the new album right now. I can't wait.

"Back out here in Nashville...mining for them gems, spending long days and nights playing - listening - playing - listening etc. Everyone's heads are in a great place and we're beyond excited to get back to creating.
    Our 6th album...(!)
Who knew it would even last this long?!
Well it did...And we're looking to make our best album to date! Hold on to your hats, folks. (Mine already flew off during tracking a couple nights ago). See ya on the other side - Scott Holiday"

I'm reading that they've just finished their new album - looking forward to it! And they're supporting Sabbath, so hopefully there'll be a couple of chances to see them again next year!

I was lucky enough to see them live back in 2012 (I think) in a small club here in Oulu, Finland. It was around the time they were touring for Head Down album. It was an amazing experience even though it wasn't a big turnout. Great live performance. I think nowadays they wouldn't bother traveling up north but I will definitely go see them again, if I get the chance.

'Amazing experience' sounds about right - we saw them in a small club in Scotland (about 350) in 2013 - wow, is all I can say!

Two months and counting until I get to see these monsters of rock live. Never thought I would look forward to Rival Sons more than Black Sabbath but that is exactly what is happening. Come on Feb 3, 2016!!!!!!!!

In one week I get to rock out to one of the best bands I've ever heard, and I heard Sabbath might be playing to. Can't wait to see the awesomeness live.

  • Black Sabbath cancelled their shows here in Alberta - however Rival Sons announced a club gig in Calgary tonight (Feb 1) ..... Playing the Marquee Club !!! Cant believe I'll see these guys in a club here - this stuff never happens to me! Ha!

you think 500 sabbath fans will bring their ticket or is there a chance of getting in without a sabbath ticket?

Super bummed I missed these guys in Vancouver for the second time in a year due to the other band cancelling. So sad and so jealous of Calgary(never thought I would say that). Oh well, at least I can look forward to the new album drop in May, if what Scott said in an interview in Edmonton is true.
