If, and I mean if they do remaster them, please release the complete 2010 tour via 24 Bit Flac-HD format.

I thought 2010 sounded the best. You could hear the crowds. I think the 2003s and the Europe 2000s were the blandest sounding. Either way glad we have them to argue about.

The 2012 bootlegs sound the best, sound wise. By far.

The 2003 boots sound great! As do the 2000 bootlegs, but you do have to crank those up for them to sound like they should.

The 2010 boots sound ok, you can hear the crowd very good. But I agree they sound very hollow, lacking bass and direct guitar inputs. Boston 2010 sounds terrible. But the show is amazing.

Maybe re release Boston, Newark and New York. Those shows were epic, and rival pj 20 IMO (the New York shows should have been the pj 20 setlists)

If they do, I personally would be happy but it's very doubtful this happens.

I was at both cities and as much as I want to tell myself PJ20 was better to justify going out there....the NY shows I think were better. At PJ20 I felt they never really got in a groove and things were a little choppy. Don't get me wrong it was still a freakin blast and the weekend all together was one of the best experiences of my life. But the shows themselves I don't think were as good.

    But hey that's just me!

    But hey that's just me!

I wasn't at pj 20, and what I've seen, I think they were great.

And I'm not trying to debate between which were better...

But being in New York, to end their last official US tour, was special.

The band was on fire, 33 and 34 song sets. All out pj, no guests.. Just epic pearl jam for 3+ hours each night.
The crowds were amazing in New York. Everyone who was in the building contests to this. It felt like all of New York City was singing along.

The difference for me is, I've heard quite a few complaints about the guests, Chris Cornell, band being rusty, hit and miss flow and more about pj 20. I've yet to hear anyone, in attendance or not, have a complaint about those New York shows. If you hear them, you'll agree. If you were there, you'll agree. If you look at the setlist on paper alone, you'll agree. New York 2010 was amazing.

But I can't honestly compare as I wasn't at pj 20. Those looked like great shows as well, night two even more so.

    I apologize folks..
I meant the US leg of 2010.
Some of the poorest quality ever..
I was actually hoping someone could attempt in an unofficial capacity
Because the band is never going to revisit those shows..
And as great the setlists were for New York,
Boston 2010 got more (I'm going to be a "homer" here)
    But:
Release (one of the best vocals for Ed is ages)
    Crown of Thorns
    Undone
    Pilate
    Rival
    All in one show???

gotta be honest...if i was the mixer, i would get so sick of listening to the same songs over and over that i would try and rush them.

Interesting way of looking at it. I was at all four of those shows and I tend to agree.

As for 2010 sound- I agree a better job could have been done, but at least they actually released all the shows .

Throw in Hartford and I think that is as good a five show stretch as they have ever played.

I don't mind 2010 mix, but Boston and Newark are pretty rough. Otherwise, they are far better than 2008 and more dynamic than 2000,03,and 05. For the amount of time that would have to go into mixing these shows and just being able to have them, I am content with all the boots we have received with the exception of 2008 which are muddy and dull. I believe the band must have taken some of these complaints into account, 2011 was rock solid and 2012 has some of the best live recordings I have heard.

I'm usually in the minority with this, but 2003 (along with 08 and most of 09) is my least favorite mix. It is obvious most on this board do not care how the drums are mixed and at what level. 2012 and 2000 Euro are my favorite sounding boots.

2010 aren't too bad. Maybe try not listening to them on an iPod? Decent stereo set up (home/car) makes a world of difference. Also, mp3's just aren't all that great sound wise.

Most of us, well over half I'm guessing, aren't using audio setups to where we will notice a huge difference between mp3 and flac (or cd for that matter). Some sizable minority can tell the differences, most cannot. The difference will certainly not change how the mix sounds to one's ear, which seems to be the major complaint. Nonetheless, I agree with you completely in that having a decent stereo or pair of headphones is important when judging how something is mixed or sounds. I'm not saying we all need 200 dollar headphones or 700 dollar speakers, but the god awful headphones that come with an ipod or 10 dollar Skullcandy's will not do the trick. :fp:

Would you contribute to a Kickstarter to fund this? I think I would.
