Free guitar lessons online anywhere?

Know of any good online sites that teach guitar lessons?

    Heya,

    I am in no way a guitarplayer, and doubt I ever will be. But my brother in law once told me he had seen and used some on the Gibson webpage which were rather usefull.

    Hi.

    This guy--whose account is "martyzsongs" on youtube--is an awesome source for learning actual songs,

    If you don't don't know how to play guitar, I suggest learning the major chord structures first, which you could find the "chord diagrams" off of any internet site.

    this Marty also has some good beginner type youtube videos as well.

    Actually, I should be watching more of him now that you mention it. :lol: He's a very good teacher, and he's cool too.

    i just youtube the song i want to learn followed by "lesson" and that usually works best.

    I've never had any luck finding a GOOD comprehensive guitar website.
    not for nothing.

    there are plenty of good TAB websites dedicated to artists (neil young -hyperrust, grateful dead - jdark, etc all have whole page compilations of tab, also pearl jam @ giventowail, duh ... ) but i've never found a good website with LESSONS.

    for beginners, justinguitar.com is really great. marty schwartz's site on youtube is awesome for learning songs as well.
