Dear 10c member- Happy New Year! We're all really excited about 2008 and we really hope you are, too. While it's still too early to make any big announcements, we want to let you all know that the band is looking forward to a busy year ...


Lets have some educated guesses, some far fetched ideas and some pure shit talk speculation for fun as to what the email is eluding to for a busy year.

Of course this in the end all really amounts to shit talk speculation, but either way that email brought a BIG WAVE of utter happiness over me and all the posibilites have me more 100 times more excited than seeing the new Batman movie after seeing the wickedly sick trailer.     I think they're going to use a similar formula from 2005-06. I see them doing some shows this year, but not a ton. They'll go back into the studio almost immediately afterwards. It worked really well for them last time, as they were doing some stuff in between Canada and S. America and obviously after S. America. Being and playing together and then recording 'Pearl Jam' worked really great, as the avocado album was arguably their best album in a long time, and possibly in the top 3.

    ok they have to tour with it being an election year- some type of vote for change deal like in 2004 - thats my guess!

    a faint hope is that they play the south - and maybe a few obscure places that they have never played before like ALASKA!!!!

    I agree with the last two posters. Maybe a few festival shows, and then a small tour of swing states, with a couple shows in the south (probably Florida). Zero chance of an album I would think.

    Remember, the definition of a busy year is different for some. I think 2005 was probably considered a "busy year".
