    cool.
apparently i've not checked that thread in awhile.
i thought it was all only centered on tailgating. good to know there are alternative plans in place for rainy weather.

    grazie!

I love it for game 3 to be rained out so that I could watch it the next night.

    i like weather.com
    's forecast better than msn's tho. ;)
actually, while i am in philly, both predict rain - the weekend - but for those of you there for the weeknight gigs, weather.com gives you a far more favorable forecast.

it certainly would! if trick or treating was postponed until Sunday, then I could leave for the show at a reasonable time instead of racing there like a lunatic and taking my chances with traffic and parking.

i was going to call dupe, but tough to do when they are posted at the same time.

i guess the moral of the story is, pack an umbrella. i really wish that the gf was going now. it's always great to toss that sort of stuff in her purse vs. carry it around when it's not rainy.

I wouldn't put too much stock in the possible rain situation yet, that is quite far off forecast-wise. Plus, weather.com is the last forecast source I would ever use (you can ask any of the meteorology guru's on the Accuweather forum I belong to!)...much better off looking at accuweather.com, or the National Weather Service. But either way I wouldn't even talk about the possibility until the middle of next week (weather models will flop back and forth for the next few days).

exactly...and if the long range forecast is calling for rain...that actually translates to sun, sun sun! 8-)

the forecast that I'm looking at says a few showers for Saturday. We here in Philly can handle "a few showers" no sweat

don't you all remember the brief down pour at the E-Centre a few years ago??

Now Friday might be a different story

i'm flying out of Ohare. You might as well planned on being delayed from there even if it's 70, no wind and sunny.

who said believe said weather forecast? :?
this is merely information. obviously, it may well change as the dates draw nearer.
and hey, i personally appreciate advanced weather forecasts. i do realize they are speculative, but it's always nice as a reference, especially when planning travels. nothing about a forecast suggests a guarantee, tis at best an educated guess.

no more 'whacked' than spelling 'weather forecast' as above... ;)

any chance to break out that pic, never missed! ;)

ya know, i bought one of those at the very first show they sold em. verona 2006. 8-)
however, i already bought just a plain rain poncho off a street vendor capitalizing on the fact of ohhhhh so many tourists/pj fans + torrential rains. so, my pj rain poncho still remains unopened. :D
