I am also a HUGE NFL fan so it will be nice to get all the NFL games i dont get on Sunday, and I have an hour drive to and from work everyday, so the comedy channels and talk news will also be of interest.

I'd buy it just for the HS show anyway.

I can't wait for Howard to go on sirius. Anyways, I heard that thing about Stapp this morning and this is from the ny daily news:

New York Daily News - http://www.nydailynews.com
As TV guest, cross Stapp is hellish

    Thursday, December 1st, 2005

Maybe rocker Scott Stapp - former front man for the very pious Christian rock band Creed - was possessed by Satan when he showed up for a taping of the Spike TV show "Casino Cinema" on Tuesday afternoon.
According to multiple sources on the set, the 32-year-old Stapp appeared intoxicated when he arrived at the show's upper East Side studio and proceeded to terrorize hosts Beth Ostrosky and Steve Schirripa, the producers and the crew members alike with his boorish and vulgar antics on- and off-camera.

Stapp - who just released his first solo album, "The Great Divide" - was there as a guest co-host on the weekly program, which plays a movie with intermittent breaks of studio chatter and interactive casino games.

"From the moment he walked into the studio, he was rude, belligerent and drunk," reports a Lowdown spy. "With Beth, he was nothing but extremely mean, sexist and an all-around jerk."

Another source says that even with his publicist in tow, Stapp cursed "every other word," called a female executive producer a "b-," constantly flipped the bird, and referred to Ostrosky - better known as Howard Stern's longtime girlfriend - as a "bimbo."

Stapp also couldn't resist taking swipes at his more famous rock colleagues. "I met [U2's] Bono and The Edge, and Bono was an a- to me," he declared, before insulting Foo Fighters front man Dave Grohl's manhood as "freaking little."

When a crew member accidently bumped into him on the set and quickly said he was sorry, Stapp snapped, "Yeah, you better f-ing be."

Says one spy, "Beth and Steve were total professionals about it, and did everything to make sure the show got taped."

Reps for Stapp and Ostrosky did not respond to detailed messages yesterday, but viewers can see Stapp's bad behavior for themselves - with appropriate bleeps, of course - when the show airs Dec. 6.

I actually feel bad for the guy. But only a "freaking little" bit.

I wish I could have seen the conversation between him and Bono, just to see the constrast between a charming a-hole (Bono) and a belligerent one (Stapp).

I'd like to see a drunk Scott Stapp show up at a PJ show so Eddie can tear him a new asshole. ;)

The jury is in. Finally, the verdict. Scott Stapp is a deuchebag. It sucks that not only did we have to endure Creed, now we have to endure Scott Stapps solo shit. And he's supposed to be a christian type person. What a fake with his religous lyrics etc. He was just trying to exploit people to make a buck. What a fraud.

I heard Stapp's new single and honestly, I thought someone was making fun of Creed.

It's like a Weird Al song.

I hear ya brother. I did the exact same thing. Now if I could only find out if he'll be on Sirius Canada (not likely) I can watch my stock soar.

Howard isn't even on his sirius channel yet and he's already done more quality programing than O&A has in a year at XM. I have both XM and Sirius....and don't get me wrong I like O&A, but Howard tops them....no question. Plus, Sirius has better music programing....just my opinion.

What has howard done to top O&A?
Regardless of your love of howard, he has done nothing for the past 2 years except bitch and moan about what he CANT do. He is not even to satelite yet, but claims to reinventing it? Stern used to be a talented man and Sirius may make him care for a year or two... but at this point, hes following, not leading.

    hoo hoo.

see, he doesn't claim that he's already reinvented it. He claims that he will re-invent it. You're just spouting the words of O&A. Hoo Hoo...

Like I said....I like O&A. They have a good show. But what Howard is doing at Sirius already, and what he will be doing when his show starts over there, will no doubt tower over O&A. He's already got a handful of programs on his channels. The Howard 100 news, superfan roundtable, tissue time with heidi cortez, bubba the love sponge will have his show on soon. And when he starts, he claims that his show will be what it used to be. The fact is, on regular radio he can't do the quality of shows that he used to be able to do. If they do in fact go back to the form of his older shows....there's no comparison between him and O&A. And to say that Howard has done nothing for the last two years is idiotic. You couldn't have been listening to Howard then. Maybe you were just listening to the little clips that O&A have of him?

I'll have to disagree with you. I, also, have both XM and Sirius. Bought Sirius first and then XM. And I am much more impressed with XM's programming than Sirius's. XM plays by far more Pearl Jam for one. Thats a seller right there for me. (Lots of rare shit too).

I'm actually thinking of dumping Sirius actually. I hardly ever listen to it since I got my XM about a year ago.

I guess we agree to disagree then. :) I think that xm rock stations playlists aren't very good. I put on Sirius channels 'Alt Nation' and 'Octane' and I hear a lot of great music. On xm I hear a lot of stuff that I don't know and never care to know. Just my opinion.
