I'm no expert but 25-40% seems too high IMO. If I had to guess I would put it more near 10%. but thats just me taking a wild guess.

I don't honestly know how many seats the 10 club is allotted; I'm assuming that it depends on the venue. BUT a guy I knew who worked for TicketMaster said that it's usually somewhere between 25 - 40% of capacity.

i'd say that may have been the case back in 2000 or 2003. but i'd venture to guess that the % has drastically decreased in the past couple years or so, maybe down to as low as 15%-20%. but again, that's just a guess, and i hope i'm wrong.

Oh well. Last I checked Philly 2 was top, then Albany (1 or 2, can't remember) then Philly 1 in 3rd place. The other Albany was 4th. That's all I can recall off the top of my head.

    Nashville was 7th. *fingers crossed*

I have a good feeling about getting NashVegas tix, which means I won't for sure!

You could be right. The only personal frame of reference that I have would be last years' shows at the Auditorium Theatre in Chicago. I remembered some 10 club members saying that they got 25th row. Assuming that no 10 club seats were further back than the 25th row, I think that puts you at roughly 35% of the Auditorium Theatre capacity.

Hopefully it's a bit higher than 10%... I'm only trying for Albany... and I know the Palace theater holds about 2,850 people... assuming it's 10% that would be roughly 300 seats which would be 150 pairs, roughly.

If a few thousand club members tried for this... it would be a very slim chance to get tickets.

this is more than likely the case.
i believe 10c all but confirmed the 10% limits on fanclub tickets, restrictions put in place by TM. i think this all started back in 2006? or at least that is the tour i think i recall this issue becoming a problem in any case. thus why, the random lottery....b/c fanclub tixs ARE so limited!
    Stay with me...

I had a dream last night that after the allottment was filled, the venue agreed to give another 900 seats to the 10 club. And I woke up very happy. Yes, I know that Ticketmaster is controlling this -- it was just a dream.

I thought I read somewhere that these fan club ticket allotments are now negotiated for a higher percentages....

Bump. It's a bummer we don't know how many seats 10C are able to reserve - it would make this poll at least a little more useful.

i was thinking it would be wise to shoot for Philly I because most people would go for Philly II on a Friday.

Looks like many others had the same thoughts

I hope this poll is statistically accurate -- only 21 of us trying for Baltimore 2!

multiply that by 10 and you have a better idea what you're up against.

This poll is just a fraction of those who visit this forum and participate.
