Dave was a great hitter back in the day, fit nicely with their songs. I liked his use of the crash cymbals. But, I really don't think he would've been able to keep up that pace over an extended period of time with the band. Besides, Matt is a far superior drummer. Without him around, the likelihood of them still being together is pretty slim IMO.

whatever the case may be, he could really make those songs on Vs. and Vitalogy sound fucking loud and mean! Songs like Not for You and Spin the Black Circle dont have the same anger behind them live anymore, but thats probably more to do with Eddie or the band in general.

    Agreed.

Dave was cool while he lasted but, c'mon people...he was all show and very little substance.

I can write pages upon pages of how I feel about Matt vs. Dave, etc. (or you could search it for yourself as there are MANY!).

Get over it and stop making these stupid posts!
