personally, i think they both would be pretty cool as posters, especially the first one (don't really care for the tape one that seems to be getting everyone wet), but they don't make good t-shirts.

    just my $0.02.

those are some pretty cool designs, but (way off topic, i'm sure) your language skills are really lacking.

    sorry they didn't include you.

Well English is not my first language, I'm a little ashamed of that but at least the contest wasn't a poetry contest!
Don't be ashamed at all, your designs are amazing and they speak for themselves in the most impeccable grammar :ugeek:

I like the second one a lot. Definitely better than those ghey "stick chicks are hot" shirts. I'm sorry but those are just plain stupid.

As a designer I can say I like the first one... As a screen printer I can say both are do-able as 4-color t-shirts. You would just have to set the dots correctly for the output of the gradients to the vellum.

In the first one... the "prepare for the return" might have a slight negative cogitation because it could be construed as "Pearl Jam is Back" not "Ten is Back". Might be a possible reason.

It would be cool though if that was a poster with a little tweaking... The design is solid. However, if it was "grunge-i-fied" (like the skull and wings in the top right corner of the page, notice the parts that are missing design and you see the background) it would come across a little sweeter. Sorry for the critique. Damn habit. But I do like your designs.

I can see whomever was in charge of the contest wanting to not think too much outside the box on the project. Not a dig into Tim, Kat or Sea, but I understand why the branding they chose is more closely related to the Ten era art.

All critics are welcome, good, bad, ALL
Even thou your reasons make sense, I would like to receive and answer from the TC like yours, but I can see a lot of designs out of the contest for the same reasons you gave me but they're up in the site and I'm not. I dedicated a lot of time and thinking on these designs like we all did.

I'll keep my "protest" 'till the end of the contest.

I am a little lost here: are these both submissions for the t-shirt contest? They look like posters to me, no t-shirt.

Well the first one yes, I made it to look like a poster just like shirts for sale in the goods section, and the second one it is more fit for a t-shirt.

Both looked good to me. The first looked too busy to be a t-shirt but would have made an excellent poster. The second would have worked either way. Neither image is showing up for me right now though...

    Hey man,

Seriously those are probably two of the best designs I've seen. I'm with you. I'd like to know why they weren't included in the designs people can vote on. Don't lose your patience though. I'm sure that if you sent an inquiry to 10C asking them why they were left out that they will get back to you. I'd ask that when you hear back that you post their response here so we know too.

    Good luck

I contacted them 2 times, my first email was "when I'm going to see the next group of designs?" the answer was "we received a lot of designs, is going to take time" at that moment they uploaded a bunch of designs, the second time I asked the same but this time the asnwer was "no more designs are going to be upload".

I really liked a lot your designs, specially the tape one...Of course shoud be on votation...I don´t understand also why they didn´t choose, because as someone said above, both of them are doable...They have a modern feel and very easy to put on a t-shirt...Honestly, I didn´t spent my 10 votes yet, just three of them, because I don´t think there´s too much more than three to vote there...Maybe 4 or 5, not much more than this...There´s a lot of designs which were choosen that I don´t think it worth a while, like one with a bottle of wine distorted or that one with stick chics...As a designer, makes me mad to see a lot of bad designs for a t-shirt there...I hope they give you an answer soon, because it´s not fair...
    Good luck :)
