Eddie Gets 2 Golden Globe Nominations.

"Eddie Vedder also received two nominations, for best score for the road drama "Into the Wild" and for an original song he wrote for the film, "Guaranteed." Besides his best-actor nomination, Reilly also is up for original song for the theme from "Walk Hard," which he co-wrote with Marshall Crenshaw, Apatow and director Jake Kasdan".

    There was an article in a norwegian newspaper today talking about the norwegian artist Sondre lerke's chances of an Oscar. The article mentioned that songs from Into the Wild were one of Sondre's top contenders.

    Congratulations, Eddie!!!! :)

    I'm disappointed that those are the only nods for ITW, though. I think Emile did an amazing job - emotionally and physically - and definitely out-acted George, who did get a nom.

    I think this movie deserves more nominations, the music was (of course) great but I think Emile Hirsch did an amazing job portraying Chris McCandless :)

    Excellent! :D To me, that's much more credible than a Grammy these days. I only wish the film had gotten more recognition outside of the music.
