    John Wick - Chapter 2:

If you like the first, you will like this one. The only problem it suffers is that it feels like it is about 20 minutes too long, which was also a fault I found in the original. But if you like watching people getting shot in the head, this is your movie.

Trash Fire - I liked it. I must warn; the phrase "Your balls smell bad", is in this movie.

La La Land - I'd heard such negative things, but it was better than I thought. I didn't think Ryan Gosling was very good though.

    Arrival - Loved it.
Denis Villeneuve is becoming one of my favourite directors - This movie, Prisoners, Sicario and Enemy

You should watch Polytechnique and Incendie. There are both also very good.

The Accountant ... I think they came up with the name of the movie before they wrote the script. Pretty cool shootout at the end.

Bought John Wick on 4K Friday ($15 Best Buy, what a steal).... never seen it before, fucking awesome

Then saw part 2 on Saturday... awesome again, though I do prefer the 1st slightly more.

The dog scene in 1 pissed me the fuck off, but I get the significance of it.

    Keanu does a great job

Moonlight - Well made movie but really dull. Nothing happened. Would never watch this again.
Seen 7 of the best picture nods and liked this the least.

I saw it last night and liked it more than I thought I would. I'm trying to watch all the best picture nods before the awards. I loved Lion and Hidden Figures, liked La La Land a lot. That's what I've seen. I heard Hell or High Water was really really good.

I've seen Fences, Lion, Hidden Figures, Hell Or High Water, Arrival, La La Land and Moonlight.
Will watch Hacksaw Ridge and Manchester By The Sea next week when they are available for rent on demand.
Not sure what movie I liked the best as I enjoyed all of them with exception of Moonlight.
I think I enjoyed Arrival or Hell Or High Water the most.

We're watching Manchester By the Sea next (we have screeners) - lots of our friends have told us Hell or High Water is one of their favorites this year. And most of our friends thought La La Land was way overrated - that's why I was surprised when I saw it and liked it. Best picture? I don't know if I liked La La Land that much.
